³⁰ who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, along with persecutions--and in the age to come, eternal life.

⁹ And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall I do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God said, The Lord can give you much more than these.

¹¹ For the Lord loves mercy and truth; God will give grace and glory; the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

⁹ Honor the Lord with your just labors, and give Him the firstfruits of your righteousness, ¹⁰ that your storehouses may be completely filled with grain, and that your presses may burst forth with wine.

¹⁶ The brood of wisdom is more to be chosen than gold, and the brood of prudence more to be chosen than silver.

¹⁰ The year is completed, and you have brought all the produce into the storehouses; but there shall be the plunder thereof in its house: return now on this behalf, says the Lord Almighty, see if I will not open to you the torrents of heaven, and pour out My blessing upon you, until you are satisfied.

¹¹ "Blessed are you whenever they revile you, and they persecute you, and they say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. ¹² Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

³² And whoever says a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the coming one.

⁴⁴ "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure having been hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it, he went and sold everything he had, and bought that field." ⁴⁵ "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, ⁴⁶ who, when he found one very precious pearl, went and sold everything he had and bought it."

²³ And Jesus was walking in the temple, in Solomon's Porch.

²² Therefore you also now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. ²³ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

¹⁰ as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that in everything always having all sufficiency, you may abound for every good work, ⁹ just as it is written: "He has dispersed, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever." ¹⁰ Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness; ¹¹ in everything being made rich to all generosity, which produces thanksgiving through us to God.

⁸ More than that I also consider all things to be loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have sustained the loss of all things, and I consider them to be rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and a good hope by grace,

⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain.

² Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials, ³ knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. ⁴ But let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptation; because when he is approved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love Him.

¹¹ Indeed we count those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord--that He is compassionate and He is merciful.

¹² Beloved, do not be surprised by the fiery trial among you, taking place to test you, as though some strange thing was happening to you; ¹³ but inasmuch as you partake in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, in order that also at the unveiling of His glory, you may rejoice with great happiness. ¹⁴ If you are reviled in the name of Christ, blessed are you, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On the one hand He is blasphemed, but on the other He is glorified. ¹⁵ For let not anyone of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people's affairs; ¹⁶ but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be put to shame, but let him glorify God in this matter.

²⁵ And this is the promise which He Himself promised to you--eternal life.

¹ Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! On account of this the world does not know you, because it did not know Him.

⁹ "I know your works, and your tribulation, and your poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

¹⁸ I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been tried by fire, so that you may become rich; and white robes, so that you may be clothed, and the shame of your nakedness may not appear; and eye salve, so that you may anoint your eyes, in order that you may see.
