²⁴ Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a rest, a memorial of trumpets: it shall be to you a holy convocation.

⁹ In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall make a proclamation with the sound of a trumpet in all your land; on the Day of Atonement you shall make a proclamation with a trumpet in all your land.

⁹ And if you shall go forth to war in your land against your enemies that are opposed to you, then shall you sound with the trumpets; and you shall be had in remembrance before the Lord, and you shall be saved from your enemies. ¹⁰ And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, you shall sound with the trumpets at your whole burnt offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.

¹ And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, there shall be to you a holy convocation: you shall do no customary work: it shall be to you a day of blowing the trumpets. ² And you shall offer whole burnt offerings for a sweet savor to the Lord, one calf of the herd, one ram, seven lambs of a year old without blemish. ³ Their grain offering shall be fine flour mingled with oil; three tenth deals for one calf, and two tenth deals for one ram: ⁴ a tenth deal for each several ram, for the seven lambs. ⁵ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make atonement for you. ⁶ Beside the whole burnt offerings for the new moon, and their grain offerings, and their drink offerings, and their perpetual whole burnt offering; and their grain offerings and their drink offerings according to their ordinance for a sweet-smelling savor to the Lord.

²⁸ And all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, playing loudly on lutes and harps.

¹³ And there was one voice in the trumpeting and in the psalm singing, and in the loud utterance with one voice to give thanks and praise the Lord. And when they raised their voice together with trumpets and cymbals, and instruments of music, and said, Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. Then the house was filled with the cloud of the glory of the Lord.

⁶ On the first day of the seventh month they began to offer whole burnt offerings to the Lord, but the foundation of the house of the Lord was not laid.

Rejoice in God our helper; shout aloud to the God of Jacob. ² Take a psalm, and produce the timbrel, the pleasant psaltery with the harp. ³ Blow the trumpet at the new moon, in the glorious day of your feast. ⁴ For this is an ordinance for Israel, and a statute of the God of Jacob.

⁶ With trumpets, and with the sound of a horn, make a joyful noise to the Lord before the king.

¹³ And it shall come to pass in that day that they shall blow the great trumpet, and the lost ones in the land of the Assyrians shall come, and the lost ones in Egypt, and shall worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

¹⁶ Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
