²⁷ And they are laid with the giants that fell of old, who went down to Hades with their weapons of war: and they laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities were upon their bones, because they terrified all men during their life.

¹³ Now I should have lain down and been quiet, I should have slept and been at rest, ¹⁴ with kings and counselors of the earth, who gloried in their swords; ¹⁵ or with rulers, whose gold was abundant, who filled their houses with silver:

¹¹ His bones have been filled with the vigor of his youth, and it shall lie down with him in the dust.

¹⁴ They have laid them as sheep in Hades; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning, and their help shall fail in Hades from their glory.

⁷ When the sinners spring up as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity have watched; it is that they may be utterly destroyed forever.

⁹ For behold, Your enemies shall perish; and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

¹⁸ Yea, he put on cursing as a garment, and it has come as water into his bowels, and as oil into his bones.

³² The ungodly shall be driven away in his wickedness, but he who is secure in his own holiness is just.

¹⁸ All the kings of the nations lie in honor, every man in his house. ¹⁹ But you shall be cast forth on the mountains, as a loathsome carcass, with many dead who have been pierced with swords, going down to the grave.

¹⁷ I will not allow any weapon formed against you to prosper; and every voice that shall rise up against you for judgment, you shall vanquish them all; and your adversaries shall be condemned thereby. There is an inheritance to them that serve the Lord, and you shall be righteous before Me, says the Lord.

²⁰ But the soul that sins shall die; and the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, nor shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the iniquity of the transgressor shall be upon him.

²¹ Go down to the depths of the pit; to whom are you superior? Yea, go down, and lie with the uncircumcised, in the midst of them that are slain with the sword.

²⁴ Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."
