¹ Then Elisha said, Hear the word of the Lord; Thus says the Lord: As at this time tomorrow a measure of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gates of Samaria.

²³ And I will put a difference between My people and your people, and tomorrow shall this be on the land. And the Lord did thus.

⁵ And God fixed a limit, saying, Tomorrow the Lord will do this thing on the land. ⁶ And the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of the Egyptians died, but of the livestock of the children of Israel not one died.

¹³ And Moses said to the people, Be of good courage: stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for us this day; for as you have seen the Egyptians today, you shall see them again no more forever.

¹² I have heard the murmuring of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, Towards evening you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be satisfied with bread; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God.

⁵ And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, for tomorrow the Lord shall do wonders among you.

⁹ And he said to the messengers that came, Thus shall you say to the men of Jabesh, Tomorrow you shall have deliverance when the sun is hot. And the messengers came to the city, and told the men of Jabesh, and they rejoiced.

¹⁹ And Micaiah said, Not so, it is not I: hear the word of the Lord: I saw the God of Israel sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven stood about Him on His right hand and on His left.

⁴² And there came a man over from Baal Shalisha, and brought to the man of God twenty barley loaves and cakes of figs, of the firstfruits. And he said, Give to the people, and let them eat.

²⁵ And there was a great famine in Samaria. And behold, they besieged it, until a donkey's head was valued at fifty pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung at five pieces of silver.

³³ While he was yet speaking with them, behold, a messenger came to him. And he said, Behold, this evil is of the Lord; why should I wait for the Lord any longer?

¹⁸ So it came to pass as Elisha had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel; and it shall be as at this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria. ¹⁹ And the officer answered Elisha, and said, Behold, if the Lord makes floodgates in heaven, shall this thing be? And Elisha said, Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat thereof.

¹⁶ And Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord:

⁵ God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her with His countenance.

¹⁰ Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; attend to the law of God, you people of Gomorrah.

⁴ And He said to me, Prophesy upon these bones, and you shall say to them, You dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

⁹ There is a little boy here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they for so many?"

⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living beings, saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not harm the oil and the wine."
