²⁰ For all the promises of God in Him are "Yes," and in Him "Amen," to the glory of God through us.

^{15 (3:16)} And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

¹⁸ And in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

¹⁰ A ruler shall not fail from Judah, nor a prince from his loins, until there come the things stored up for him; and He is the expectation of nations.

¹⁷ Let His name be blessed forever; His name shall endure longer than the sun, and all the tribes of the earth shall be blessed in Him: all nations shall call Him blessed.

¹⁶ For the Lord shall build up Zion, and shall appear in His glory.

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive in the womb, and shall bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Emmanuel.

⁶ For a Child is born to us, and a Son is given to us, whose government is upon His shoulder; and His name is called the Messenger of great counsel; for I will bring peace upon the princes, and health to Him. ⁷ His government shall be great, and of His peace there is no end; it shall be upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to establish it, and to support it with judgment and with righteousness, from this time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts shall perform this.

¹⁶ which shall be blessed on the earth; for they shall bless the true God; and they that swear upon the earth shall swear by the true God; for they shall forget the former affliction, it shall not come into their mind.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

⁶⁸ "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people, ⁶⁹ and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, ⁷⁰ as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, who have been since the world began, ⁷¹ that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, ⁷² to perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant, ⁷³ the oath which He swore to our father Abraham: ⁷⁴ to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear,

¹⁴ "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

¹⁷ For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came to be through Jesus Christ.

⁵ Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

²⁵ You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your offspring all the families of the earth shall be blessed.' ²⁶ To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities."

³² And we proclaim to you the good news of the promise which was made to the fathers, ³³ that God has fulfilled this promise for us to their children, when He raised up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.' ³⁴ "And that He raised Him from the dead, no longer being about to return to corruption, thus He has said: 'I will give you the sure decrees of God concerning David.' ³⁵ "Therefore also in another Psalm He says, 'You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.' ³⁶ "For David indeed in his own generation, having served by the purpose of God, died, and was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; ³⁷ but He whom God raised up did not see corruption. ³⁸ Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this Man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, ³⁹ and from all things from which you could not (by the Law of Moses) be justified, by Him everyone that believes is justified.

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³⁶ For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things; to Him be the glory forever! Amen.

⁷ Therefore receive one another, just as also Christ received you, to the glory of God. ⁸ Now I say that Christ Jesus has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, in order to confirm the promises to the fathers, ⁹ and that the Gentiles might glorify God on behalf of His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to Your name."

¹⁶ Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who occupies the place of the uninformed say "Amen" when you give thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?

⁶ Because it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁵ For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

¹⁶ Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises spoken. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. ¹⁷ And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, does not annul the covenant previously confirmed to Christ by God, so that it make the promise of no effect. ¹⁸ For if the inheritance comes by the law, it is no longer of promise; but God has given it to Abraham by promise.

²² But the Scripture has confined all under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He bestowed favor upon us in the Beloved.

¹² so that we should be to the praise of His glory, we who first trusted in Christ; ¹³ in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴ who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

⁷ that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

⁸ To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, ⁹ and to enlighten all as to what is the administration of the mystery, which had been hidden from the ages in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ; ¹⁰ that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies,

²⁷ To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

¹⁰ whenever He comes, in that Day, to be glorified among His saints and to be marveled among all those having believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

¹² lest you become dull, but become imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. ¹³ For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, ¹⁴ saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." ¹⁵ And so, after he had been patient, he obtained the promise. ¹⁶ For men indeed swear by the greater, and the oath for confirmation is an end of every dispute to them. ¹⁷ Thus God, wanting to show even more clearly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His counsel, guaranteed it by an oath, ¹⁸ in order that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong encouragement, who have fled to take hold of the hope being set before us; ¹⁹ which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and secure, and which enters into the inner side of the veil,

⁶ but the one not tracing his descent from them has received tithes from Abraham, and he has blessed the one having the promises.

¹⁰ concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances which are imposed until a time of reformation. ¹¹ But Christ came as a High Priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. ¹² Not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered once for all into the Holies, having obtained eternal redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling those having been defiled, sanctifies for the purity of the flesh, ¹⁴ by how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, will cleanse your conscience from dead works in order that we might serve the living God? ¹⁵ And on account of this He is the Mediator of the new covenant, so that, since a death has occurred for redemption of the transgressions at the time of the first covenant, that those having been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

¹³ These all died according to faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and welcoming them, and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

³⁹ And all these, having obtained witness through their faith, did not receive the promise, ⁴⁰ God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

⁸ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

¹² To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they were ministering these things, which things were now announced to you by those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.

²⁴ Therefore let that which you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise which He Himself promised to you--eternal life.

¹¹ And this is the testimony: that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

¹⁴ "And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write, 'These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

¹² saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."
