¹⁰ Now I beseech you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but you be made complete in the same mind and in the same opinion.

¹ A Song of Degrees. See now! What is so good, or what so pleasant, as for brethren to dwell together?

³⁹ And I will give them another way, and another heart, to fear Me continually, and that for good to them and their children after them.

¹⁶ No one puts on a patch of a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for it takes away its completeness from the garment, and the tear is made worse.

²¹ No one sews a patch of a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else it takes away its completeness, the new piece from the old garment, and the tear becomes worse.

⁴³ Therefore a division occurred among the crowd because of Him.

¹⁶ Therefore some of the Pharisees were saying, "This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath." Others said, "How can a sinful man do such signs?" And there was a division among them.

¹⁹ Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these words.

³⁴ A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. ³⁵ By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

²³ I in them, and You in Me; so that they may be perfected in unity, and so that the world may know that You have sent Me, and You loved them just as You loved Me.

³² Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things belonging to him was his own, but they had all things in common.

¹ Therefore, brothers, I exhort you through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your intelligent service.

¹⁶ Be of the same mind toward one another. Not minding the high things, but associating with the humble. Do not become wise in your own opinion.

⁵ Now may the God of patience and of encouragement grant you to be like-minded among one another, according to Christ Jesus, ⁶ so that you may with one accord and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

³⁰ Now I beg you, brothers, through the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in prayers to God on my behalf,

¹⁷ Now I urge you, brothers, to look out for those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.

¹⁶ Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me.

¹⁸ For first of all, when you come together in church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.

²⁵ lest there be divisions in the body, but the parts care the same for one another.

²⁰ Now then, we serve as ambassadors for Christ, as though God were appealing through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

¹ And working together with Him, we also urge that you not receive the grace of God in vain.

¹ Now I, Paul, myself appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who face to face am lowly among you, but when I am away am bold toward you.

¹¹ Finally brothers, farewell. Restore yourselves, comfort yourselves, be in agreement, be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

¹² Brothers, I beseech you, become as I am, because I also am as you are. You have not wronged me at all.

¹ Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, ² with all humility and meekness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, ³ being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; ⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism; ⁶ one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all. ⁷ But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the free gift of Christ.

³¹ Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and blasphemy be removed from you, with all malice. ³² And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as also God in Christ forgave us.

²⁷ Only conduct yourselves worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the gospel,

¹ Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and acts of compassion, ² fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit, intending the same purpose, ³ doing nothing according to selfish ambition or conceit, but with humility, regarding one another as being better than yourselves. ⁴ Let each of you look out not only for his own concerns, but also for the concerns of others.

¹⁶ Nevertheless, to what we have attained, let us walk by the same rule, being of the same mind.

¹ Finally then, brothers, we request of you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you should abound more. ² For you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

¹³ and to regard them beyond all measure in love, because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

¹ Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we beseech you,

²¹ I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing according to partiality.

¹ I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead in accordance with His appearing and His kingdom:

⁹ rather on account of love I appeal to you--being such a one as Paul, the elder, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ-- ¹⁰ I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whom I begot in my bonds,

¹³ Is there anyone wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his works are in meekness of wisdom. ¹⁴ But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. ¹⁵ This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. ¹⁶ For where jealousy and strife exist, there unrest and every evil deed are. ¹⁷ But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. ¹⁸ Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those making peace.

¹¹ Beloved, I implore you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from the lusts of the flesh which war against the soul;

⁸ Finally, all of you be like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, compassionate, friendly, ⁹ not rendering evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called for this purpose, that you may inherit a blessing.
