²³ But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then those who belong to Christ at His coming.

¹⁹ The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice; for the dew from You is healing to them; but the land of the ungodly shall perish.

²³ And you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have died.

⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

⁷ Do you look at things as they appear? If anyone has persuaded himself that he is Christ's, let him again consider this in himself, that just as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's.

²⁹ And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

²⁴ And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

¹⁹ For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

¹⁵ For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall by no means precede those who are dead. ¹⁶ Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
