⁷ For the king trusts in the LORD; through the loving devotion of the Most High, he will not be shaken.

⁸ When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He divided the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. ⁹ But the LORD’s portion is His people, Jacob His allotted inheritance.

⁶ And David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of every man grieved for his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.

² I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

⁵ But I have trusted in Your loving devotion; my heart will rejoice in Your salvation.

⁸ I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

² The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

⁷ Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. ⁸ They collapse and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

¹ Of David. Vindicate me, O LORD! For I have walked with integrity; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering.

⁴ Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah

⁶ Increase the days of the king’s life; may his years span many generations. ⁷ May he sit enthroned in God’s presence forever; appoint Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness to guard him.

² I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

⁹ Because you have made the LORD your dwelling—my refuge, the Most High— ¹⁰ no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent.

¹⁴ And He was given dominion, glory, and kingship, that the people of every nation and language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

⁴³ He trusts in God. Let God deliver Him now if He wants Him. For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”
