¹² And the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them should be darkened, and the day should not appear for a third of it, and the night likewise.

²⁹ And immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’

⁴⁵ And from the sixth hour, darkness was over all the land, until the ninth hour.

⁷ And the first sounded his trumpet, and there was hail and fire having been mixed with blood, and it was cast upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. ⁸ And the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea. And a third of the sea became blood, ⁹ and a third of the creatures having life in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ And the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star fell out of heaven, burning like a torch. And it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the springs of waters. ¹¹ And the name of the star is called Wormwood. ¹⁵ And the four angels having been prepared for the hour and day and month and year were released, so that they might kill a third of mankind.

⁸ And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun, and there was given to it to scorch men with fire. ⁹ And the men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, the One having authority over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory.
