⁴³ And all were astonished at the majesty of God. But of all wondering at all that He did, He said to His disciples,

²² And while they were abiding in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men,

⁵¹ And He went up to them into the boat, and the wind ceased. And exceedingly in abundance they were amazed in themselves,

³⁰ Having gone forth from there, they were passing through Galilee; and He did not want that anyone should know, ³¹ for He was teaching His disciples. And He was saying to them, “The Son of Man is delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill Him; and having been killed, on the third day He will arise.” ³² And they did not understand the saying, and they were afraid to ask Him.

³⁶ And astonishment came upon all, and they were speaking to one another, saying, “What word is this, that He commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out?”

⁹ For amazement laid hold on him, and on all those with him, at the catch of the fish which they had taken,

²⁶ And amazement seized all, and they were glorifying God, and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

²⁵ And He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And having been afraid, they marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?”

⁴³ And all were astonished at the majesty of God. But of all wondering at all that He did, He said to His disciples, ⁴⁴ “You let these words sink into your ears; for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.” ⁴⁵ But they did not understand this saying, and it was veiled from them, that they should not understand it. And they were afraid to ask Him concerning this saying.

¹⁰ and they recognized him, that he was the one sitting for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at that having happened to him. ¹¹ Now as he is clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. ¹² But having seen it, Peter answered to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this? Or why do you look intently on us as if by our own power or godliness we have made him to walk? ¹³ The God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, whom indeed you betrayed and disowned in the presence of Pilate, that one having adjudged to release Him.

¹⁶ For we have not made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ having followed out cleverly devised fables, but having been eyewitnesses of His majesty.
