¹³ And the Lord having seen her, was moved with compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”

² “I am moved with compassion upon the crowd, because they continue with Me three days already, and have nothing that they might eat.

¹⁹ And having summoned a certain two his disciples, John sent them to the Lord saying, “Are You the coming One, or are we to look for another?”

⁵² And all were weeping and mourning for her. But He said, “Do not weep; for she is not dead, but sleeps.”

¹ Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy-two others and sent them in two by two before His face, into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

¹⁵ Therefore the Lord answered him and said, “Hypocrites! Does not each one of you untie his ox or donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and having led it away, give it to drink?

⁵ And the apostles said to the Lord, “Add to us faith!”

⁶¹ And having turned, the Lord looked at Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.”

³⁴ saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and He has appeared to Simon.”

² And Mary was the one having anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and having wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

³³ Therefore Jesus, when He saw her weeping and the Jews having come with her weeping, was deeply moved in spirit and Himself troubled. ³⁴ And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They say to Him, “Lord, come and see.” ³⁵ Jesus wept.

¹³ And they say to her, “Woman, why do you weep?” She says to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”

¹⁵ Jesus says to her, “Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek?” Thinking that it is the gardener, she says to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him off, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”

³⁰ and those weeping, as not weeping; and those rejoicing, as not rejoicing; and those buying, as not possessing;

¹³ But we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those having fallen asleep, so that you should not be grieved, just as also the rest, those having no hope.

¹⁷ Therefore it behooved Him to be made like the brothers in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things relating to God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one having been tempted in all things by the same way, without sin.
