¹⁰ and to await His Son from the heavens, whom He raised out from the dead—Jesus, the one delivering us from the coming wrath.

²¹ And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

⁷ But having seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

²⁵ And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

⁷ So he was saying to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “Offspring of vipers, who forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath?

¹¹ who also said, “Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, having been taken up from you into heaven, will thus come in that manner you beheld Him going into heaven.”

²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the agony of death, inasmuch as it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

¹⁵ And you killed the Author of life, whom God has raised up out from the dead, whereof we are witnesses.

²¹ whom indeed it behooves heaven to receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from the age.

¹⁰ let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth—whom you crucified, whom God raised out from the dead—in Him this man stands before you sound.

³⁰ The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, having hanged Him on a tree. ³¹ God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

⁴⁰ This One God raised up on the third day, and gave Him to become manifest, ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to the witnesses having been chosen beforehand by God, to us who did eat with and drink with Him after His rising out from the dead.

³¹ because He set a day in which He is about to judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He appointed, having provided a guarantee to all, having raised Him out from the dead.”

⁴ having been declared the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord,

⁷ to those who indeed with endurance in good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;

²⁵ who was delivered over for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

⁹ Therefore much more, having been justified now by His blood, we will be saved by Him from wrath! ¹⁰ For if, being enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved in His life!

²³ And not only so, but we ourselves, even having the firstfruit of the Spirit, also groan ourselves in ourselves, awaiting divine adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. ²⁴ For in this hope we were saved; but hope being seen is no hope; for does anyone hope for what he sees? ²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, we await in patience.

³⁴ Who is the one condemning? For it is Christ Jesus, the one having died, now rather having been raised up, who is also at the right hand of God, and who is interceding for us.

⁷ so as for you not to be lacking in any gift as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁴ and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day according to the Scriptures, ⁵ and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve. ⁶ Thereafter He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, the greater part of whom remain until now, although some have fallen asleep. ⁷ Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. ⁸ And last of all, He appeared also to me, as to one of untimely birth. ⁹ For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. ¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me has not been void. Rather, I toiled more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. ¹¹ Therefore whether it was I or they, thus we preach, and thus you believed. ¹² Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised out from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? ¹³ But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised. ¹⁴ And if Christ has not been raised, then also our preaching is void, and your faith is void. ¹⁵ Then also we are found false witnesses of God, because we have witnessed concerning God that He raised up Christ, whom He has not raised if then the dead are not raised. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised. ¹⁷ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. ¹⁸ Also then those having fallen asleep in Christ have perished. ¹⁹ If only in this life we are having hope in Christ, we are more to be pitied than all men. ²⁰ But now Christ has been raised out from the dead, the firstfruit of those having fallen asleep. ²¹ For since death came by a man, so also by a man has come the resurrection of the dead.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it has been written: “Cursed is everyone hanging on a tree”—

²⁰ For our citizenship exists in the heavens, from whence also we are awaiting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁸ And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, firstborn out from the dead, so that He might be holding preeminence in all things,

⁷ so as for you to became an example to all the believing ones in Macedonia and in Achaia.

⁷ But we were gentle in your midst, as a nursing mother would cherish her own children.

¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, so as always to fill up their sins. Now the wrath has come upon them to the utmost.

¹⁶ because the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we, the living remaining, will be caught away together with them in the clouds for the meeting of the Lord in the air; and so we will be always with the Lord.

⁹ because God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹ I earnestly declare before God and Christ Jesus, the One being about to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:

¹³ awaiting the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

²⁸ so also Christ, having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear for a second time, apart from sin, to those awaiting Him for salvation.

²⁷ but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment and fury of fire being about to devour the adversaries.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One according to His great mercy having begotten us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out from the dead,

²¹ who by Him believe in God, the one having raised Him up out from the dead and having given Him glory, so as for your faith and hope to be in God.

²¹ For to this hereunto you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow after His steps:

¹⁸ because Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, so that He might bring you to God, having been put to death indeed in the flesh, but having been made alive in the spirit,

¹² expecting and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens will be dissolved, being set on fire, and the elements are melting, burning with heat.

¹⁴ Therefore, beloved, expecting these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and without blemish.

⁷ Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will wail because of Him. Yes! Amen!

¹⁸ and the Living One. And I was dead, and behold I am living to the ages of the ages, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
