²² Forasmuch as both Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek wisdom, ²³ we, however, preach Christ having been crucified, a stumbling block indeed to the Jewish and foolishness to Gentiles, ²⁴ but those called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. ²⁵ For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God stronger than men.
