³² Τότε (Then) προσκαλεσάμενος (having called to) αὐτὸν (him), ὁ (the) κύριος (master) αὐτοῦ (of him) λέγει (says) αὐτῷ (to him), ‘Δοῦλε (Servant) πονηρέ (evil), πᾶσαν (all) τὴν (the) ὀφειλὴν (debt) ἐκείνην (that) ἀφῆκά (I forgave) σοι (you), ἐπεὶ (because) παρεκάλεσάς (you begged) με (me).

²⁶ Ἀποκριθεὶς (Answering) δὲ (now), ὁ (the) κύριος (master) αὐτοῦ (of him) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to him), ‘Πονηρὲ (Wicked) δοῦλε (servant) καὶ (and) ὀκνηρέ (lazy)! ᾔδεις (You knew) ὅτι (that) θερίζω (I reap) ὅπου (where) οὐκ (not) ἔσπειρα (I sowed), καὶ (and) συνάγω (gather) ὅθεν (from where) οὐ (not) διεσκόρπισα (I scattered).

²¹ ἔσωθεν (Within) γὰρ (for) ἐκ (from) τῆς (the) καρδίας (heart) τῶν (-) ἀνθρώπων (of men) οἱ (-) διαλογισμοὶ (thoughts) οἱ (-) κακοὶ (evil) ἐκπορεύονται (go forth), πορνεῖαι (sexual immorality), κλοπαί (thefts), φόνοι (murders), μοιχεῖαι (adulteries),

²² Λέγει (He says) αὐτῷ (to him), ‘Ἐκ (Out of) τοῦ (the) στόματός (mouth) σου (of you) κρίνω (I will judge) σε (you), πονηρὲ (evil) δοῦλε (servant). ᾔδεις (You knew) ὅτι (that) ἐγὼ (I) ἄνθρωπος (a man) αὐστηρός (harsh) εἰμι (am), αἴρων (taking up) ὃ (what) οὐκ (not) ἔθηκα (I did lay down) καὶ (and) θερίζων (reaping) ὃ (what) οὐκ (not) ἔσπειρα (I did sow)?

² καὶ (And) δείπνου (supper) γινομένου (taking place), τοῦ (the) διαβόλου (devil) ἤδη (already) βεβληκότος (having put) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) καρδίαν (heart) ἵνα (that) παραδοῖ (he should betray) αὐτὸν (Him) Ἰούδας (of Judas), Σίμωνος (son of Simon) Ἰσκαριώτου (Iscariot),

³ Εἶπεν (Said) δὲ (however) ὁ (-) Πέτρος (Peter), “Ἁνανία (Ananias), διὰ (because of) τί (why) ἐπλήρωσεν (has filled) ὁ (-) Σατανᾶς (Satan) τὴν (the) καρδίαν (heart) σου (of you) ψεύσασθαί (to lie to) σε (for you) τὸ (the) Πνεῦμα (Spirit) τὸ (-) Ἅγιον (Holy) καὶ (and) νοσφίσασθαι (to keep back) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) τιμῆς (proceeds) τοῦ (of the) χωρίου (land)?

²² μετανόησον (Repent) οὖν (therefore) ἀπὸ (of) τῆς (the) κακίας (wickedness) σου (of yours) ταύτης (this), καὶ (and) δεήθητι (pray earnestly to) τοῦ (the) Κυρίου (Lord), εἰ (if) ἄρα (indeed) ἀφεθήσεταί (will be forgiven) σοι (you) ἡ (the) ἐπίνοια (intent) τῆς (of the) καρδίας (heart) σου (of you);

³ τοῦτο (this) πρῶτον (first) γινώσκοντες (knowing), ὅτι (that) ἐλεύσονται (will come) ἐπ’ (in) ἐσχάτων (the last) τῶν (of the) ἡμερῶν (days) ἐν (with) ἐμπαιγμονῇ (scoffing) ἐμπαῖκται (scoffers), κατὰ (according to) τὰς (-) ἰδίας (own) ἐπιθυμίας (evil desires) αὐτῶν (of them) πορευόμενοι (following) ⁴ καὶ (and) λέγοντες (saying), “Ποῦ (Where) ἐστιν (is) ἡ (the) ἐπαγγελία (promise) τῆς (of the) παρουσίας (coming) αὐτοῦ (of Him)? ἀφ’ (From) ἧς (the time that) γὰρ (for) οἱ (the) πατέρες (fathers) ἐκοιμήθησαν (fell asleep), πάντα (all things) οὕτως (as they were) διαμένει (continue) ἀπ’ (from) ἀρχῆς (the beginning) κτίσεως (of creation).” ⁵ Λανθάνει (It is concealed from) γὰρ (indeed) αὐτοὺς (them) τοῦτο (this) θέλοντας (willingly), ὅτι (that) οὐρανοὶ (heavens) ἦσαν (existed) ἔκπαλαι (long ago), καὶ (and) γῆ (the earth) ἐξ (out of) ὕδατος (water) καὶ (and) δι’ (through) ὕδατος (water) συνεστῶσα (having been composed) τῷ (by the) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) λόγῳ (word),
