¹⁵ οὐκέτι (No longer) λέγω (I call) ὑμᾶς (you) δούλους (servants), ὅτι (for) ὁ (the) δοῦλος (servant) οὐκ (not) οἶδεν (knows) τί (what) ποιεῖ (is doing) αὐτοῦ (his) ὁ (-) κύριος (master). ὑμᾶς (You) δὲ (however) εἴρηκα (I have called) φίλους (friends), ὅτι (because) πάντα (all things) ἃ (that) ἤκουσα (I heard) παρὰ (from) τοῦ (the) Πατρός (Father) μου (of Me), ἐγνώρισα (I have made known) ὑμῖν (to you).

¹¹ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering), εἶπεν (He said) ‹αὐτοῖς› (to them), “Ὅτι (Because) Ὑμῖν (to you) δέδοται (it has been granted) γνῶναι (to know) τὰ (the) μυστήρια (mysteries) τῆς (of the) βασιλείας (kingdom) τῶν (of the) οὐρανῶν (heavens); ἐκείνοις (to them) δὲ (however) οὐ (not) δέδοται (it has been granted).

²³ Καὶ (And) στραφεὶς (having turned) πρὸς (to) τοὺς (the) μαθητὰς (disciples) κατ’ (in) ἰδίαν (private), εἶπεν (He said), “Μακάριοι (Blessed are) οἱ (the) ὀφθαλμοὶ (eyes) οἱ (-) βλέποντες (seeing) ἃ (what) βλέπετε (you see)!

¹⁹ Λέγει (Says) αὐτῷ (to Him) ἡ (the) γυνή (woman), “Κύριε (Sir), θεωρῶ (I understand) ὅτι (that) προφήτης (a prophet) εἶ (are) σύ (You).

²⁶ πολλὰ (Many things) ἔχω (I have) περὶ (concerning) ὑμῶν (you) λαλεῖν (to say), καὶ (and) κρίνειν (to judge); ἀλλ’ (but) ὁ (the One) πέμψας (having sent) με (Me) ἀληθής (true) ἐστιν (is); κἀγὼ (and I) ἃ (what) ἤκουσα (I have heard) παρ’ (from) αὐτοῦ (Him), ταῦτα (these things) λαλῶ (I say) εἰς (to) τὸν (the) κόσμον (world).”

²⁶ ἐὰν (If) ἐμοί (Me) τις (anyone) διακονῇ (serves), ἐμοὶ (Me) ἀκολουθείτω (let him follow); καὶ (and) ὅπου (where) εἰμὶ (am) ἐγὼ (I), ἐκεῖ (there) καὶ (also) ὁ (the) διάκονος (servant) ὁ (-) ἐμὸς (of Me) ἔσται (will be). ἐάν (If) τις (anyone) ἐμοὶ (Me) διακονῇ (serves), τιμήσει (will honor) αὐτὸν (him) ὁ (the) Πατήρ (Father).

¹⁶ ἀμὴν (Truly), ἀμὴν (truly), λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you), οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) δοῦλος (a servant) μείζων (greater than) τοῦ (the) κυρίου (master) αὐτοῦ (of him), οὐδὲ (nor) ἀπόστολος (a messenger) μείζων (greater than) τοῦ (the one) πέμψαντος (having sent) αὐτόν (him).

²⁰ Μνημονεύετε (Remember) τοῦ (the) λόγου (word) οὗ (that) ἐγὼ (I) εἶπον (said) ὑμῖν (to you): ‘Οὐκ (Not) ἔστιν (is) δοῦλος (a servant) μείζων (greater than) τοῦ (the) κυρίου (master) αὐτοῦ (of him).’ εἰ (If) ἐμὲ (Me) ἐδίωξαν (they persecuted), καὶ (also) ὑμᾶς (you) διώξουσιν (they will persecute); εἰ (if) τὸν (the) λόγον (word) μου (of Me) ἐτήρησαν (they kept), καὶ (also) τὸν (-) ὑμέτερον (yours) τηρήσουσιν (they will keep).

⁶ Ἐφανέρωσά (I revealed) σου (Your) τὸ (-) ὄνομα (name) τοῖς (to the) ἀνθρώποις (men) οὓς (whom) ἔδωκάς (You have given) μοι (Me) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) κόσμου (world). σοὶ (Yours) ἦσαν (they were), κἀμοὶ (and to Me) αὐτοὺς (them) ἔδωκας (You gave), καὶ (and) τὸν (the) λόγον (word) σου (of You) τετήρηκαν (they have kept). ⁷ νῦν (Now) ἔγνωκαν (they have known) ὅτι (that) πάντα (all things) ὅσα (whatever) δέδωκάς (You have given) μοι (Me), παρὰ (of) σοῦ (You) εἰσιν (are); ⁸ ὅτι (for) τὰ (the) ῥήματα (words) ἃ (that) ἔδωκάς (You have given) μοι (Me), δέδωκα (I have given) αὐτοῖς (them), καὶ (and) αὐτοὶ (they) ἔλαβον (received them) καὶ (and) ἔγνωσαν (knew) ἀληθῶς (truly) ὅτι (that) παρὰ (from) σοῦ (You) ἐξῆλθον (I came forth); καὶ (and) ἐπίστευσαν (they believed) ὅτι (that) σύ (You) με (Me) ἀπέστειλας (sent).

²⁶ καὶ (And) ἐγνώρισα (I made known) αὐτοῖς (to them) τὸ (the) ὄνομά (name) σου (of You), καὶ (and) γνωρίσω (will make it known), ἵνα (so that) ἡ (the) ἀγάπη (love) ἣν (with which) ἠγάπησάς (You loved) με (Me) ἐν (in) αὐτοῖς (them) ᾖ (may be), κἀγὼ (and I) ἐν (in) αὐτοῖς (them).”

¹⁷ Λέγει (Says) αὐτῇ (to her) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Μή (Not) μου (Me) ἅπτου (touch), οὔπω (not yet) γὰρ (for) ἀναβέβηκα (have I ascended) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) Πατέρα (Father); πορεύου (go) δὲ (however) πρὸς (to) τοὺς (the) ἀδελφούς (brothers) μου (of Me) καὶ (and) εἰπὲ (say) αὐτοῖς (to them), ‘Ἀναβαίνω (I am ascending) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) Πατέρα (Father) μου (of Me) καὶ (and) Πατέρα (Father) ὑμῶν (of you), καὶ (and to) Θεόν (God) μου (of Me) καὶ (and) Θεὸν (God) ὑμῶν (of you).’”

²⁷ οὐ (not) γὰρ (for) ὑπεστειλάμην (I shrunk back) τοῦ (-) μὴ (not) ἀναγγεῖλαι (from declaring) πᾶσαν (all) τὴν (the) βουλὴν (counsel) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ὑμῖν (to you).

²⁵ Τῷ (To Him) δὲ (now) δυναμένῳ (being able) ὑμᾶς (you) στηρίξαι (to strengthen), κατὰ (according to) τὸ (-) εὐαγγέλιόν (gospel) μου (my) καὶ (and) τὸ (the) κήρυγμα (preaching) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ), κατὰ (according to) ἀποκάλυψιν (the revelation) μυστηρίου (of the mystery), χρόνοις (in times) αἰωνίοις (of the ages) σεσιγημένου (having been kept secret), ²⁶ φανερωθέντος (having been made manifest) δὲ (however) νῦν (now), διά (through) τε (also) γραφῶν (Scriptures) προφητικῶν (prophetic), κατ’ (according to) ἐπιταγὴν (the commandment) τοῦ (of the) αἰωνίου (Eternal) Θεοῦ (God), εἰς (unto the) ὑπακοὴν (obedience) πίστεως (of faith) — εἰς (to) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles) γνωρισθέντος (having been made known) —

⁹ ἀλλὰ (but) καθὼς (as) γέγραπται (it has been written): “Ἃ (What) ὀφθαλμὸς (eye) οὐκ (not) εἶδεν (has seen), καὶ (and) οὖς (ear) οὐκ (not) ἤκουσεν (has heard), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (into) καρδίαν (heart) ἀνθρώπου (of man) οὐκ (not) ἀνέβη (has entered), ὅσα (what) ἡτοίμασεν (has prepared) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) τοῖς (for those) ἀγαπῶσιν (loving) αὐτόν (Him).” ¹⁰ Ἡμῖν (To us) γὰρ (for) ἀπεκάλυψεν (has revealed it) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) διὰ (through) τοῦ (the) Πνεύματος (Spirit). Τὸ (The) γὰρ (for) Πνεῦμα (Spirit) πάντα (all things) ἐραυνᾷ (searches), καὶ (even) τὰ (the) βάθη (depths) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God). ¹¹ τίς (Who) γὰρ (for) οἶδεν (knows) ἀνθρώπων (among men) τὰ (the things) τοῦ (of the) ἀνθρώπου (man), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) τὸ (the) πνεῦμα (spirit) τοῦ (of the) ἀνθρώπου (man) τὸ (that is) ἐν (within) αὐτῷ (him)? οὕτως (So) καὶ (also) τὰ (the things) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἔγνωκεν (knows), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) τὸ (the) Πνεῦμα (Spirit) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God). ¹² ἡμεῖς (We) δὲ (now), οὐ (not) τὸ (the) πνεῦμα (spirit) τοῦ (of the) κόσμου (world) ἐλάβομεν (have received), ἀλλὰ (but) τὸ (the) πνεῦμα (Spirit) τὸ (who is) ἐκ (from) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God), ἵνα (that) εἰδῶμεν (we may know) τὰ (the things) ὑπὸ (by) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God) χαρισθέντα (having been granted) ἡμῖν (to us),

⁶ Ὅτι (Because) δέ (now) ἐστε (you are) υἱοί (sons), ἐξαπέστειλεν (sent forth) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) τὸ (the) Πνεῦμα (Spirit) τοῦ (of the) Υἱοῦ (Son) αὐτοῦ (of Him) εἰς (into) τὰς (the) καρδίας (hearts) ἡμῶν (of us), κρᾶζον (crying out), “Ἀββᾶ (Abba), ὁ (-) Πατήρ (Father)!”

⁹ γνωρίσας (having made known) ἡμῖν (to us) τὸ (the) μυστήριον (mystery) τοῦ (of the) θελήματος (will) αὐτοῦ (of Him) κατὰ (according to) τὴν (the) εὐδοκίαν (pleasure) αὐτοῦ (of Him), ἣν (which) προέθετο (He purposed) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (Him)

⁵ ὃ (which) ἑτέραις (in other) γενεαῖς (generations) οὐκ (not) ἐγνωρίσθη (was made known) τοῖς (to the) υἱοῖς (sons) τῶν (-) ἀνθρώπων (of men), ὡς (as) νῦν (now) ἀπεκαλύφθη (it has been revealed) τοῖς (to) ἁγίοις (holy) ἀποστόλοις (apostles) αὐτοῦ (His) καὶ (and) προφήταις (prophets) ἐν (in) Πνεύματι (the Spirit),

²⁶ τὸ (the) μυστήριον (mystery) τὸ (-) ἀποκεκρυμμένον (having been hidden) ἀπὸ (from) τῶν (the) αἰώνων (ages) καὶ (and) ἀπὸ (from) τῶν (the) γενεῶν (generations), νῦν (now) δὲ (however) ἐφανερώθη (having been manifested) τοῖς (to the) ἁγίοις (saints) αὐτοῦ (of Him),

¹⁶ οὐκέτι (no longer) ὡς (as) δοῦλον (a slave), ἀλλὰ (but) ὑπὲρ (above) δοῦλον (a slave), ἀδελφὸν (a brother) ἀγαπητόν (beloved), μάλιστα (especially) ἐμοί (to me), πόσῳ (how much) δὲ (however) μᾶλλον (more) σοὶ (to you), καὶ (both) ἐν (in) σαρκὶ (the flesh) καὶ (and) ἐν (in) Κυρίῳ (the Lord).
