¹⁹ οὗτος (He) κατασοφισάμενος (having dealt treacherously with) τὸ (the) γένος (race) ἡμῶν (of us), ἐκάκωσεν (he mistreated) τοὺς (the) πατέρας (fathers) [ἡμῶν] (of us), τοῦ (-) ποιεῖν (making them) τὰ (the) βρέφη (infants) ἔκθετα (abandon) αὐτῶν (of them) εἰς (unto) τὸ (the) μὴ (not) ζωογονεῖσθαι (they would live).

⁴ καὶ (And) ἡ (the) οὐρὰ (tail) αὐτοῦ (of him) σύρει (drags) τὸ (a) τρίτον (third) τῶν (of the) ἀστέρων (stars) τοῦ (of) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), καὶ (and) ἔβαλεν (he cast) αὐτοὺς (them) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth). καὶ (And) ὁ (the) δράκων (dragon) ἕστηκεν (stands) ἐνώπιον (before) τῆς (the) γυναικὸς (woman) τῆς (-) μελλούσης (being about) τεκεῖν (to bring forth), ἵνα (so that) ὅταν (when) τέκῃ (she should bring forth), τὸ (the) τέκνον (child) αὐτῆς (of her) καταφάγῃ (he might devour). ⁵ Καὶ (And) ἔτεκεν (she brought forth) υἱόν (a son) ἄρσεν (male), ὃς (who) μέλλει (is about) ποιμαίνειν (to rule) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (nations) ἐν (with) ῥάβδῳ (a rod) σιδηρᾷ (of iron); καὶ (and) ἡρπάσθη (was caught up) τὸ (the) τέκνον (child) αὐτῆς (of her) πρὸς (to) τὸν (-) Θεὸν (God), καὶ (and) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) θρόνον (throne) αὐτοῦ (of Him).
