²³ καὶ (and) ἐλθὼν (having come), κατῴκησεν (he dwelt) εἰς (in) πόλιν (a city) λεγομένην (being called) Ναζαρέτ (Nazareth); ὅπως (so that) πληρωθῇ (it should be fulfilled) τὸ (that) ῥηθὲν (having been spoken) διὰ (through) τῶν (the) προφητῶν (prophets), ὅτι (that) “Ναζωραῖος (A Nazarene) κληθήσεται (He will be called).”

⁸ Ἰδόντες (Having seen) δὲ (now), οἱ (the) ὄχλοι (crowds) ἐφοβήθησαν (marveled) καὶ (and) ἐδόξασαν (glorified) τὸν (-) Θεὸν (God), τὸν (the One) δόντα (having given) ἐξουσίαν (authority) τοιαύτην (such) τοῖς (-) ἀνθρώποις (to men).

² Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰωάννης (John), ἀκούσας (having heard) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) δεσμωτηρίῳ (prison) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) τοῦ (of the) Χριστοῦ (Christ), πέμψας (having sent) διὰ (two) τῶν (of the) μαθητῶν (disciples) αὐτοῦ (of him), ³ εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to Him), “Σὺ (You) εἶ (are) ὁ (the) ἐρχόμενος (coming One), ἢ (or) ἕτερον (another) προσδοκῶμεν (are we to look for)?” ⁴ Καὶ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Πορευθέντες (Having gone), ἀπαγγείλατε (relate) Ἰωάννῃ (to John) ἃ (what) ἀκούετε (you hear) καὶ (and) βλέπετε (see): ⁵ τυφλοὶ (Blind) ἀναβλέπουσιν (receive sight), καὶ (and) χωλοὶ (lame) περιπατοῦσιν (walk), λεπροὶ (lepers) καθαρίζονται (are cleansed), καὶ (and) κωφοὶ (deaf) ἀκούουσιν (hear), καὶ (and) νεκροὶ (dead) ἐγείρονται (are raised), καὶ (and) πτωχοὶ (poor) εὐαγγελίζονται (are gospelized). ⁶ καὶ (And) μακάριός (blessed) ἐστιν (is) ὃς (he who) ἐὰν (if) μὴ (not) σκανδαλισθῇ (shall fall away) ἐν (in) ἐμοί (Me).”

²⁸ εἰ (If) δὲ (however) ἐν (by the) Πνεύματι (Spirit) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐγὼ (I) ἐκβάλλω (cast out) τὰ (-) δαιμόνια (demons), ἄρα (then) ἔφθασεν (has come) ἐφ’ (upon) ὑμᾶς (you) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

²⁰ Παραγενόμενοι (Having come) δὲ (then) πρὸς (to) αὐτὸν (Him), οἱ (the) ἄνδρες (men) εἶπαν (said), “Ἰωάννης (John) ὁ (the) Βαπτιστὴς (Baptist) ἀπέστειλεν (has sent) ἡμᾶς (us) πρὸς (to) σὲ (you), λέγων (saying), ‘Σὺ (You) εἶ (are) ὁ (the) ἐρχόμενος (coming One), ἢ (or) ἄλλον (another) προσδοκῶμεν (are we to look for)?’” ²¹ Ἐν (At) ἐκείνῃ (that very) τῇ (-) ὥρᾳ (hour), ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) πολλοὺς (many) ἀπὸ (of) νόσων (diseases), καὶ (and) μαστίγων (afflictions), καὶ (and) πνευμάτων (spirits) πονηρῶν (evil), καὶ (and) τυφλοῖς (to blind) πολλοῖς (many) ἐχαρίσατο (He granted) βλέπειν (to see). ²² καὶ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering), εἶπεν (He said) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Πορευθέντες (Having gone), ἀπαγγείλατε (relate) Ἰωάννῃ (to John) ἃ (what) εἴδετε (you have seen) καὶ (and) ἠκούσατε (heard): τυφλοὶ (Blind) ἀναβλέπουσιν (receive sight), χωλοὶ (lame) περιπατοῦσιν (walk), λεπροὶ (lepers) καθαρίζονται (are cleansed), καὶ (and) κωφοὶ (deaf) ἀκούουσιν (hear), νεκροὶ (dead) ἐγείρονται (are raised), πτωχοὶ (poor) εὐαγγελίζονται (are gospelized). ²³ καὶ (And) μακάριός (blessed) ἐστιν (is) ὃς (who) ἐὰν (if) μὴ (not) σκανδαλισθῇ (shall be offended) ἐν (in) ἐμοί (Me).”

²⁰ εἰ (If) δὲ (however) ἐν (by) δακτύλῳ (the finger) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐγὼ (I) ἐκβάλλω (cast out) τὰ (the) δαιμόνια (demons), ἄρα (then) ἔφθασεν (has come) ἐφ’ (upon) ὑμᾶς (you) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

¹⁸ ἀποκριθεὶς (Answering) δὲ (now), εἷς (the one) ὀνόματι (named) Κλεοπᾶς (Cleopas) εἶπεν (said) πρὸς (to) αὐτόν (Him), “Σὺ (You) μόνος (alone) παροικεῖς (visit) Ἰερουσαλὴμ (Jerusalem) καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) ἔγνως (have known) τὰ (the things) γενόμενα (having come to pass) ἐν (in) αὐτῇ (it) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) ἡμέραις (days) ταύταις (these)?”

⁴⁵ Εὑρίσκει (Finds) Φίλιππος (Philip) τὸν (-) Ναθαναὴλ (Nathanael) καὶ (and) λέγει (says) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ὃν (Him whom) ἔγραψεν (wrote of) Μωϋσῆς (Moses) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) νόμῳ (Law), καὶ (also) οἱ (the) προφῆται (prophets), εὑρήκαμεν (we have found), Ἰησοῦν (Jesus) υἱὸν (son) τοῦ (-) Ἰωσὴφ (of Joseph), τὸν (-) ἀπὸ (of) Ναζαρέτ (Nazareth).”

² οὗτος (He) ἦλθεν (came) πρὸς (to) αὐτὸν (Him) νυκτὸς (by night) καὶ (and) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to Him), “Ῥαββί (Rabbi), οἴδαμεν (we know) ὅτι (that) ἀπὸ (from) Θεοῦ (God) ἐλήλυθας (You have come), διδάσκαλος (a teacher); οὐδεὶς (no one) γὰρ (for) δύναται (is able) ταῦτα (these) τὰ (-) σημεῖα (signs) ποιεῖν (to do) ἃ (that) σὺ (You) ποιεῖς (do), ἐὰν (if) μὴ (not) ᾖ (should be) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (him).”

⁴⁸ Εἶπεν (Said) οὖν (therefore) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) πρὸς (to) αὐτόν (him), “Ἐὰν (If) μὴ (not) σημεῖα (signs) καὶ (and) τέρατα (wonders) ἴδητε (you people see), οὐ (no) μὴ (not) πιστεύσητε (will you believe).”

¹⁷ ὁ (-) δὲ (But) [Ἰησοῦς] (Jesus) ἀπεκρίνατο (answered) αὐτοῖς (them), “Ὁ (The) Πατήρ (Father) μου (of Me) ἕως (until) ἄρτι (now) ἐργάζεται (is working), κἀγὼ (and I) ἐργάζομαι (am working).” ¹⁸ Διὰ (Because of) τοῦτο (this) οὖν (therefore), μᾶλλον (the more) ἐζήτουν (were seeking) αὐτὸν (Him) οἱ (the) Ἰουδαῖοι (Jews) ἀποκτεῖναι (to kill), ὅτι (because) οὐ (not) μόνον (only) ἔλυεν (was He breaking) τὸ (the) σάββατον (Sabbath), ἀλλὰ (but) καὶ (also) Πατέρα (Father) ἴδιον (His own) ἔλεγεν (He was calling) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), ἴσον (equal) ἑαυτὸν (Himself) ποιῶν (making) τῷ (to) Θεῷ (God). ¹⁹ Ἀπεκρίνατο (Answered) οὖν (therefore) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) καὶ (and) ἔλεγεν (was saying) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Ἀμὴν (Truly), ἀμὴν (truly), λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you), οὐ (not) δύναται (is able) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) ποιεῖν (to do) ἀφ’ (of) ἑαυτοῦ (Himself) οὐδὲν (nothing), ἐὰν* (if) μή (not) τι (anything) βλέπῃ (He might see) τὸν (the) Πατέρα (Father) ποιοῦντα (doing); ἃ (whatever) γὰρ (for) ἂν (-) ἐκεῖνος (He) ποιῇ (does), ταῦτα (these things) καὶ (also) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) ὁμοίως (likewise) ποιεῖ (does). ²⁰ ὁ (-) γὰρ (For) Πατὴρ (the Father) φιλεῖ (loves) τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son), καὶ (and) πάντα (all things) δείκνυσιν (shows) αὐτῷ (to Him) ἃ (that) αὐτὸς (He) ποιεῖ (does); καὶ (and) μείζονα (greater) τούτων (than these) δείξει (He will show) αὐτῷ (Him) ἔργα (works), ἵνα (so that) ὑμεῖς (you) θαυμάζητε (may marvel).

³⁶ ἐγὼ (I) δὲ (however) ἔχω (have) τὴν (the) μαρτυρίαν (testimony) μείζω (greater than) τοῦ (that) Ἰωάννου (of John). τὰ (-) γὰρ (For) ἔργα (the works) ἃ (that) δέδωκέν (has given) μοι (Me) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἵνα (that) τελειώσω (I should complete) αὐτά (them), αὐτὰ (same) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) ἃ (which) ποιῶ (I do), μαρτυρεῖ (bear witness) περὶ (concerning) ἐμοῦ (Me) ὅτι (that) ὁ (the) Πατήρ (Father) με (Me) ἀπέσταλκεν (has sent).

¹⁴ Οἱ (The) οὖν (therefore) ἄνθρωποι (people), ἰδόντες (having seen) ὃ (what) ἐποίησεν (He had done), σημεῖον (the sign), ἔλεγον (were saying) ὅτι (-), “Οὗτός (This) ἐστιν (is) ἀληθῶς (truly) ὁ (the) προφήτης (prophet) ὁ (who) ἐρχόμενος (is coming) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) κόσμον (world).”

²⁷ ἐργάζεσθε (Work) μὴ (not for) τὴν (the) βρῶσιν (food) τὴν (that) ἀπολλυμένην (is perishing), ἀλλὰ (but for) τὴν (the) βρῶσιν (food) τὴν (-) μένουσαν (enduring) εἰς (unto) ζωὴν (life) αἰώνιον (eternal), ἣν (which) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ὑμῖν (to you) δώσει (will give). τοῦτον (Him) γὰρ (for) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἐσφράγισεν (has sealed), ὁ (-) Θεός (God).”

³¹ Ἐκ (Out of) τοῦ (the) ὄχλου (crowd) δὲ (now) πολλοὶ (many) ἐπίστευσαν (believed) εἰς (in) αὐτόν (Him) καὶ (and) ἔλεγον (were saying), “Ὁ (The) Χριστὸς (Christ), ὅταν (When) ἔλθῃ (He comes), μὴ (not) πλείονα (more) σημεῖα (signs) ποιήσει (will He do) ὧν (than) οὗτος (this man) ἐποίησεν (has done)?”

³³ εἰ (If) μὴ (not) ἦν (were) οὗτος (this man) παρὰ (from) Θεοῦ (God), οὐκ (not) ἠδύνατο (He could) ποιεῖν (do) οὐδέν (nothing).”

³⁷ Εἰ (If) οὐ (not) ποιῶ (I do) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) τοῦ (of the) Πατρός (Father) μου (of Me), μὴ (not) πιστεύετέ (believe) μοι (Me).

⁴⁰ Λέγει (Says) αὐτῇ (to her) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Οὐκ (Not) εἶπόν (said I) σοι (to you) ὅτι (that) ἐὰν (if) πιστεύσῃς (you should believe), ὄψῃ (you will see) τὴν (the) δόξαν (glory) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).” ⁴¹ Ἦραν (They took away) οὖν (therefore) τὸν (the) λίθον (stone). ὁ (-) δὲ (Now) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ἦρεν (lifted) τοὺς (His) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) ἄνω (upwards) καὶ (and) εἶπεν (said), “Πάτερ (Father), εὐχαριστῶ (I thank) σοι (You) ὅτι (that) ἤκουσάς (You have heard) μου (Me). ⁴² ἐγὼ (I) δὲ (and) ᾔδειν (knew) ὅτι (that) πάντοτέ (always) μου (Me) ἀκούεις (You hear); ἀλλὰ (but) διὰ (on account of) τὸν (the) ὄχλον (crowd) τὸν (-) περιεστῶτα (standing around) εἶπον (I said it), ἵνα (that) πιστεύσωσιν (they may believe) ὅτι (that) σύ (You) με (Me) ἀπέστειλας (sent).”

⁴⁷ Συνήγαγον (Gathered) οὖν (therefore) οἱ (the) ἀρχιερεῖς (chief priests) καὶ (and) οἱ (the) Φαρισαῖοι (Pharisees) συνέδριον (a council), καὶ (and) ἔλεγον (they were saying), “Τί (What) ποιοῦμεν (are we to do)? ὅτι (For) οὗτος (this) ὁ (-) ἄνθρωπος (man) πολλὰ (many) ποιεῖ (does) σημεῖα (signs).

¹⁷ Ἐμαρτύρει (Continued to bear witness) οὖν (therefore) ὁ (the) ὄχλος (crowd) ὁ (-) ὢν (being) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him) ὅτε (when) τὸν (-) Λάζαρον (Lazarus) ἐφώνησεν (He called) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) μνημείου (tomb) καὶ (and) ἤγειρεν (raised) αὐτὸν (him) ἐκ (out from) νεκρῶν (the dead).

¹⁰ οὐ (Not) πιστεύεις (believe you) ὅτι (that) ἐγὼ (I am) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) Πατρὶ (Father), καὶ (and) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἐν (in) ἐμοί (Me) ἐστιν (is)? τὰ (The) ῥήματα (words) ἃ (that) ἐγὼ (I) λέγω (speak) ὑμῖν (to you), ἀπ’ (from) ἐμαυτοῦ (Myself) οὐ (not) λαλῶ (I speak), ὁ (-) δὲ (but) Πατὴρ (the Father) ἐν (in) ἐμοὶ (Me) μένων (dwelling) ποιεῖ (does) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) αὐτοῦ (of Him). ¹¹ πιστεύετέ (Believe) μοι (Me) ὅτι (that) ἐγὼ (I am) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) Πατρὶ (Father), καὶ (and) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἐν (in) ἐμοί (Me); εἰ (if) δὲ (but) μή (not), διὰ (because of) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) αὐτὰ (themselves) πιστεύετε (believe).

²⁴ εἰ (If) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) μὴ (not) ἐποίησα (I had done) ἐν (among) αὐτοῖς (them) ἃ (that) οὐδεὶς (no) ἄλλος (other) ἐποίησεν (has done), ἁμαρτίαν (sin) οὐκ (not) εἴχοσαν (they would have had); νῦν (now) δὲ (however) καὶ (both) ἑωράκασιν (they have seen) καὶ (and) μεμισήκασιν (have hated) καὶ (both) ἐμὲ (Me) καὶ (and) τὸν (the) Πατέρα (Father) μου (of Me).

¹⁹ Ἔγραψεν (Wrote) δὲ (then) καὶ (also) τίτλον (a title) ὁ (-) Πιλᾶτος (Pilate) καὶ (and) ἔθηκεν (put it) ἐπὶ (on) τοῦ (the) σταυροῦ (cross). ἦν (It was) δὲ (now) γεγραμμένον (written): ΙΗΣΟΥΣ (Jesus) Ο* (of) ΝΑΖΩΡΑΙΟΣ (Nazareth), Ο* (the) ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ (King) ΤΩΝ (of the) ΙΟΥΔΑΙΩΝ (Jews).

¹² ἰδὼν (Having seen it) δὲ (however), ὁ (-) Πέτρος (Peter) ἀπεκρίνατο (answered) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) λαόν (people): “Ἄνδρες (Men), Ἰσραηλῖται (Israelites), τί (why) θαυμάζετε (wonder you) ἐπὶ (at) τούτῳ (this)? ἢ (Or) ἡμῖν (on us) τί (why) ἀτενίζετε (you look intently), ὡς (as if) ἰδίᾳ (by our own) δυνάμει (power) ἢ (or) εὐσεβείᾳ (godliness) πεποιηκόσιν (we have made) τοῦ (-) περιπατεῖν (to walk) αὐτόν (him)?

¹⁰ γνωστὸν (known) ἔστω (let it be) πᾶσιν (to all) ὑμῖν (you) καὶ (and) παντὶ (to all) τῷ (the) λαῷ (people) Ἰσραὴλ (of Israel) ὅτι (that) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ὀνόματι (name) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ) τοῦ (of) Ναζωραίου (Nazareth), ὃν (whom) ὑμεῖς (you) ἐσταυρώσατε (crucified), ὃν (whom) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἤγειρεν (raised) ἐκ (out from) νεκρῶν (the dead), ἐν (in) τούτῳ (Him) οὗτος (this man) παρέστηκεν (stands) ἐνώπιον (before) ὑμῶν (you) ὑγιής (sound).

³⁵ Εἶπέν (He said) τε (then) πρὸς (to) αὐτούς (them), “Ἄνδρες (Men), Ἰσραηλῖται (Israelites), προσέχετε (take heed) ἑαυτοῖς (to yourselves) ἐπὶ (with) τοῖς (the) ἀνθρώποις (men) τούτοις (these), τί (what) μέλλετε (you are about) πράσσειν (to do).

¹⁴ ἀκηκόαμεν (we have heard) γὰρ (for) αὐτοῦ (him) λέγοντος (saying) ὅτι (that) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ὁ (of) Ναζωραῖος (Nazareth) οὗτος (this) καταλύσει (will destroy) τὸν (the) τόπον (place) τοῦτον (this) καὶ (and) ἀλλάξει (will change) τὰ (the) ἔθη (customs) ἃ (that) παρέδωκεν (delivered) ἡμῖν (to us) Μωϋσῆς (Moses).”

³⁷ Ὑμεῖς (You yourselves) οἴδατε (know) τὸ (the) γενόμενον (having come) ῥῆμα (declaration) καθ’ (through) ὅλης (all) τῆς (-) Ἰουδαίας (Judea), ἀρξάμενος (having begun) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (-) Γαλιλαίας (Galilee), μετὰ (after) τὸ (the) βάπτισμα (baptism) ὃ (that) ἐκήρυξεν (proclaimed) Ἰωάννης (John): ³⁸ Ἰησοῦν (Jesus) τὸν (-) ἀπὸ (from) Ναζαρέθ (Nazareth), ὡς (how) ἔχρισεν (anointed) αὐτὸν (Him) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) Πνεύματι (Spirit) Ἁγίῳ (with Holy) καὶ (and) δυνάμει (with power), ὃς (who) διῆλθεν (went about) εὐεργετῶν (doing good) καὶ (and) ἰώμενος (healing) πάντας (all) τοὺς (those) καταδυναστευομένους (being oppressed) ὑπὸ (by) τοῦ (the) διαβόλου (devil), ὅτι (because) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἦν (was) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him).

¹⁶ Ἀναστὰς (Having risen up) δὲ (then) Παῦλος (Paul), καὶ (and) κατασείσας (having made a sign) τῇ (with the) χειρὶ (hand), εἶπεν (he said), “Ἄνδρες (Men), Ἰσραηλῖται (Israelites), καὶ (and) οἱ (those) φοβούμενοι (fearing) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), ἀκούσατε (listen).

²⁷ Παραγενόμενοι (Having arrived) δὲ (now) καὶ (and) συναγαγόντες (having gathered together) τὴν (the) ἐκκλησίαν (church), ἀνήγγελλον (they began declaring) ὅσα (all that) ἐποίησεν (had done) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) μετ’ (with) αὐτῶν (them), καὶ (and) ὅτι (that) ἤνοιξεν (He had opened) τοῖς (to the) ἔθνεσιν (Gentiles) θύραν (a door) πίστεως (of faith).

²⁸ κράζοντες (crying out), “Ἄνδρες (Men), Ἰσραηλῖται (Israelites), βοηθεῖτε (help)! οὗτός (This) ἐστιν (is) ὁ (the) ἄνθρωπος (man) ὁ (who) κατὰ (against) τοῦ (the) λαοῦ (people) καὶ (and) τοῦ (the) νόμου (law) καὶ (and) τοῦ (the) τόπου (place) τούτου (this) πάντας (all those) πανταχῇ (everywhere) διδάσκων (teaching); ἔτι (besides) τε (and) καὶ (also) Ἕλληνας (Greeks) εἰσήγαγεν (he has brought) εἰς (into) τὸ (the) ἱερὸν (temple) καὶ (and) κεκοίνωκεν (defiled) τὸν (the) ἅγιον (holy) τόπον (place) τοῦτον (this).”

⁸ Ἐγὼ (I) δὲ (then) ἀπεκρίθην (answered), ‘Τίς (Who) εἶ (are You), Κύριε (Lord)?’ Εἶπέν (He said) τε (then) πρὸς (to) ἐμέ (me), ‘Ἐγώ (I) εἰμι (am) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ὁ (of) Ναζωραῖος (Nazareth), ὃν (whom) σὺ (you) διώκεις (are persecuting).’

⁵ Εὑρόντες (Having found) γὰρ (for) τὸν (the) ἄνδρα (man) τοῦτον (this) λοιμὸν (a pest), καὶ (and) κινοῦντα (stirring) στάσεις (insurrection) πᾶσιν (among all) τοῖς (the) Ἰουδαίοις (Jews) τοῖς (-) κατὰ (in) τὴν (the) οἰκουμένην (world), πρωτοστάτην (a leader) τε (then) τῆς (of the) τῶν (of the) Ναζωραίων (Nazarenes) αἱρέσεως (sect),

⁹ Ἐγὼ (I) μὲν (indeed) οὖν (therefore) ἔδοξα (thought) ἐμαυτῷ (in myself) πρὸς (to) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) τοῦ (-) Ναζωραίου (of Nazareth), δεῖν (I ought) πολλὰ (many things) ἐναντία (contrary) πρᾶξαι (to do),

²⁶ ἐπίσταται (Understands) γὰρ (for) περὶ (concerning) τούτων (these things) ὁ (the) βασιλεύς (king), πρὸς (to) ὃν (whom) καὶ (also) παρρησιαζόμενος (using boldness) λαλῶ (I speak). λανθάνειν (Are hidden from) γὰρ (for) αὐτὸν (him) [τι] (any) τούτων (of these things) οὐ (not). πείθομαι (I am persuaded) οὐθέν (none) οὐ (not) γάρ (for) ἐστιν (is) ἐν (in) γωνίᾳ (a corner) πεπραγμένον (done), τοῦτο (of these things).

¹² τὰ (The) μὲν (indeed) σημεῖα (signs) τοῦ (of the) ἀποστόλου (apostle) κατειργάσθη (were performed) ἐν (among) ὑμῖν (you) ἐν (in) πάσῃ (all) ὑπομονῇ (perseverance), σημείοις (in signs) τε (both), καὶ (and) τέρασιν (wonders), καὶ (and) δυνάμεσιν (miracles).

⁴ συνεπιμαρτυροῦντος (bearing witness) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God) σημείοις (by signs) τε (together with them) καὶ (and) τέρασιν (wonders), καὶ (and) ποικίλαις (by various) δυνάμεσιν (miracles), καὶ (and) Πνεύματος (of the Spirit) Ἁγίου (Holy) μερισμοῖς (distributions), κατὰ (according to) τὴν (the) αὐτοῦ (of Him) θέλησιν (will).
