⁷ Εἶπεν (He said) ‹δὲ› (then) πρὸς (to) αὐτούς (them), “Οὐχ (Not) ὑμῶν (yours) ἐστιν (it is) γνῶναι (to know) χρόνους (times) ἢ (or) καιροὺς (seasons) οὓς (which) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἔθετο (put in place) ἐν (by) τῇ (-) ἰδίᾳ (His own) ἐξουσίᾳ (authority).

²³ Λέγει (He says) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Τὸ (-) μὲν (Indeed) ποτήριόν (the cup) μου (of Me) πίεσθε (You will drink), τὸ (-) δὲ (but) καθίσαι (to sit) ἐκ (on) δεξιῶν (the right hand) μου (of Me) καὶ (and) ἐξ (on) εὐωνύμων (the left), οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) ἐμὸν (Mine) τοῦτο (this) δοῦναι (to give), ἀλλ’ (but to those) οἷς (for whom) ἡτοίμασται (it has been prepared) ὑπὸ (by) τοῦ (the) Πατρός (Father) μου (of Me).”

³⁶ Περὶ (Concerning) δὲ (however) τῆς (the) ἡμέρας (day) ἐκείνης (that) καὶ (and) ὥρας (hour), οὐδεὶς (no one) οἶδεν (knows), οὐδὲ (not even) οἱ (the) ἄγγελοι (angels) τῶν (of the) οὐρανῶν (heavens), οὐδὲ (nor) ὁ (the) Υἱός (Son), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) μόνος (only).

⁴⁰ τὸ (-) δὲ (but) καθίσαι (to sit) ἐκ (at) δεξιῶν (the right hand) μου (of Me) ἢ (or) ἐξ (at) εὐωνύμων (the left hand), οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) ἐμὸν (Mine) δοῦναι (to give), ἀλλ’ (but to those) οἷς (for whom) ἡτοίμασται (it has been prepared).”

³² Περὶ (Concerning) δὲ (now) τῆς (the) ἡμέρας (day) ἐκείνης (that), ἢ (or) τῆς (the) ὥρας (hour), οὐδεὶς (no one) οἶδεν (knows); οὐδὲ (not even) οἱ (the) ἄγγελοι (angels) ἐν (in) οὐρανῷ (heaven), οὐδὲ (nor) ὁ (the) Υἱός (Son), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) ὁ (the) Πατήρ (Father).

²⁴ καὶ (And) πεσοῦνται (they will fall) στόματι (by the edge) μαχαίρης (of the sword), καὶ (and) αἰχμαλωτισθήσονται (will be led captive) εἰς (into) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (nations); πάντα (all) καὶ (and) Ἰερουσαλὴμ (Jerusalem) ἔσται (will be) πατουμένη (trodden down) ὑπὸ (by) ἐθνῶν (the Gentiles), ἄχρι (until) οὗ (that) πληρωθῶσιν (are fulfilled) καιροὶ (the times) ἐθνῶν (of the Gentiles).

²⁶ ἐποίησέν (He made) τε (then) ἐξ (of) ἑνὸς (one), πᾶν (every) ἔθνος (nation) ἀνθρώπων (of men), κατοικεῖν (to dwell) ἐπὶ (upon) παντὸς (all) προσώπου (the face) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), ὁρίσας (having determined) προστεταγμένους (the appointed) καιροὺς (times) καὶ (and) τὰς (the) ὁροθεσίας (boundaries) τῆς (of the) κατοικίας (habitation) αὐτῶν (of them),

¹⁰ εἰς (for) οἰκονομίαν (the administration) τοῦ (of the) πληρώματος (fullness) τῶν (of the) καιρῶν (times), ἀνακεφαλαιώσασθαι (to bring together) τὰ (the) πάντα (all things) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) Χριστῷ (Christ), τὰ (the things) ἐπὶ (in) τοῖς (the) οὐρανοῖς (heavens) καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth),

¹ Περὶ (Concerning) δὲ (now) τῶν (the) χρόνων (times) καὶ (and) τῶν (the) καιρῶν (seasons), ἀδελφοί (brothers), οὐ (no) χρείαν (need) ἔχετε (you have) ὑμῖν (to you) γράφεσθαι (to be written). ² αὐτοὶ (Yourselves) γὰρ (for) ἀκριβῶς (fully) οἴδατε (you know) ὅτι (that) ἡμέρα (the day) Κυρίου (of the Lord), ὡς (as) κλέπτης (a thief) ἐν (by) νυκτὶ (night), οὕτως (in this manner) ἔρχεται (comes).

¹⁵ ἣν (which) καιροῖς (seasons) ἰδίοις (in the own) δείξει (He will display), ὁ (the) μακάριος (blessed) καὶ (and) μόνος (alone) Δυνάστης (Sovereign), ὁ (the) Βασιλεὺς (King) τῶν (of those) βασιλευόντων (being kings), καὶ (and) Κύριος (the Lord) τῶν (of those) κυριευόντων (being lords),

¹ Τοῦτο (This) δὲ (however) γίνωσκε (realize), ὅτι (that) ἐν (in) ἐσχάταις (the last) ἡμέραις (days) ἐνστήσονται (will be present) καιροὶ (times) χαλεποί (difficult).
