¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, the body is dead, on account of sin, but the Spirit is life, on ac count of righteousness.

¹⁴ but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him, shall never thirst. But the water that I will give him, shall be in him a fountain of water springing up in order to eternal life.

⁵⁴ He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood, has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day;

⁵⁶ He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him.

²⁵ Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believes on me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; ²⁶ and he that lives and believes on me, shall never die. Do you believe this?

¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you shall see me. Because I live, you also shall live. ²⁰ In that clay you shall know that I am in my Father, arid you in me, and I in you.

²³ Jesus answered and said to him: If any one loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

⁵ I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing.

²³ I in them, and thou ID me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

¹² For this reason, as by one man sin entered into the world, and by his sin, death; and so death passed through to all men, because all have sinned:

²¹ that as sin has reigned, ending in death, so might grace reign by justification, ending in life eternal, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹¹ And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised the Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwells in you.

⁴⁵ So, also, it is written: The first man Adam became a living soul, the last Adam a life-giving spirit.

¹¹ For we who live are continually delivered up to death for Jesus sake, that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

¹ For we know that if our earthly house, which is but a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ² For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house that is from heaven, ³ since, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. ⁴ For we who are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened, not because we wish to be unclothed, but clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

⁶ Therefore, we are always confident, especially since we know that, while living in the body, we are absent from the Lord: ⁷ for we walk by faith, not by sight: ⁸ we are confident, indeed, and would be pleased rather to depart from the body, and to dwell with the Lord.

²¹ for he has made him, who knew no sin, a sin-offering for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

⁵ Make trial of yourselves, whether you are in the faith; put yourselves to the proof. Do you not know your own selves, that Christ Jesus is in you? unless you be without proof.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, yet I live; no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through the faith;

²³ I am in a strait between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better:

⁹ and be found in him, not having my own righteousness which was by law, but the righteousness which is by faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith,

²⁷ to whom God would make known what is the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

³ for you are dead, and your life is hid with the Christ in God. ⁴ When the Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

¹⁶ for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall arise first;

²⁷ And, as it is appointed to men once to die, and after this the judgment,

²³ to the general assembly and church of the first-born, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,

¹³ Indeed, I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to arouse you by putting you in remembrance. ¹⁴ For I know that the putting off of this my tabernacle is near at hand, even as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.

¹⁴ And I said to him: Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me: These are they who have come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. ¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, nor shall they thirst any more, nor shall the sun fall upon them, nor any heat. ¹⁷ For the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and will lead them to living fountains of water: and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven, saying: Write, Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord from this time. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.
