²⁵ For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven.

³⁵ But those who shall be accounted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. ³⁶ For they can die no more; for they are like the angels, and are the sons of God, being the sons of the resurrection.

⁴² So, also, is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption: ⁴³ it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power: ⁴⁴ it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body. ⁴⁵ So, also, it is written: The first man Adam became a living soul, the last Adam a life-giving spirit. ⁴⁶ But that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is animal; and afterward that which is spiritual. ⁴⁷ The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man, the Lord from heaven. ⁴⁸ As the earthy man was, such also are the earthy; and as the heavenly man is, such also shall the heavenly be. ⁴⁹ And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. ⁵⁰ But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I declare to you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible body must put on incorruptibility; and this mortal body must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ And when this corruptible body shall have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal body shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.

²² But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels; ²³ to the general assembly and church of the first-born, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,

² Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
