²⁹ And as he prayed, the appearance of his face was changed, and his raiment became white and glittering.

² and he was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his clothing was white as the light.

² And after six days, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up alone into a high mountain apart; and he was transfigured before them; ³ and his raiment became shining, exceeding white like snow, as no fuller on earth could whiten them.

¹³ and in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one like the Son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to his feet, and girded about the breast with a golden girdle. ¹⁴ His head and his hair were white as white wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; ¹⁵ and his feet were like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace: and his voice was like the voice of many waters. ¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp, two-edged sword: arid his face was as the sun when it shines in its strength.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them.
