1 Then, six days before the passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom he had raised from the dead.

She has performed a good work on me. 7 For you have the poor with you always; and whenever you choose, you can do them good; but me you have not always. 8 She has done what she could; she has come beforehand to anoint my body for its burial.

Luke 24:50

50 And he led them out as far as Bethany; and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
