¹ Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

²¹ For what careth he for his house after him,
When the number of his months is cut off?

⁸ I will hear what God Jehovah will speak;
For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:
But let them not turn again to folly. ⁹ Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him,
That glory may dwell in our land. ¹⁰ Mercy and truth are met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
They shall prosper that love thee.

⁵ Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; [yea], let him make peace with me.

¹⁷ And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence for ever.

¹³ And all thy children shall be taught of Jehovah; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

¹² For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him that is far off and to him that is near, saith Jehovah; and I will heal him. ²⁰ But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it cannot rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt. ²¹ There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

⁴ Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.

¹³ even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased.

⁵ And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house. ⁶ And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again.

³⁸ saying, Blessed [is] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

⁴² saying, { If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. ¹⁸ He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

²⁴ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

³³ These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.}

³¹ but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.

³⁶ The word which he sent unto the children of Israel, preaching good tidings of peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all)—

³⁸ Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins: ³⁹ and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

⁷ to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called [to be] saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

²² even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction;

²⁶ for the showing, [I say], of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus. ²⁷ Where then is the glorying? It is excluded. By what manner of law? of works? Nay: but by a law of faith. ²⁸ We reckon therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

³⁰ if so be that God is one, and he shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith.

⁵ But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

²⁴ but for our sake also, unto whom it shall be reckoned, who believe on him that raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, ²⁵ who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

⁹ Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath [of God] through him. ¹⁰ For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;

¹⁸ So then as through one trespass [the judgment came] unto all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness [the free gift came] unto all men to justification of life.

²³ For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³⁰ What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith:

¹⁰ for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

¹⁵ and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!

¹⁷ for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

³³ Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

¹⁸ But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; ¹⁹ to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
²⁰ We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech [you] on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.

¹⁶ yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

¹¹ Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith; ¹² and the law is not of faith; but, He that doeth them shall live in them. ¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: ¹⁴ that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

²⁵ But now that faith is come, we are no longer under a tutor.

⁴ Ye are severed from Christ, ye who would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace. ⁵ For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness. ⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.

⁷ that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus:

¹⁴ For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition, ¹⁵ having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, [so] making peace; ¹⁶ and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: ¹⁷ and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace to them that were nigh:

⁹ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, [even] that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

²⁰ and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, [I say], whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.

¹⁵ And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.

²³ And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, [even] our Lord Jesus,

²³ and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God. ²⁴ Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith. ²⁵ And in like manner was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way? ²⁶ For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
