God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.

¹⁵ Blessed are ye of Jehovah,
Who made heaven and earth.

⁸ Our help is in the name of Jehovah,
Who made heaven and earth.

⁵ Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help,
Whose hope is in Jehovah his God: ⁶ Who made heaven and earth,
The sea, and all that in them is;
Who keepeth truth for ever;

²⁸ Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding. ²⁹ He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.

¹³ For I, Jehovah thy God, will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

¹¹ But Jehovah is with me as a mighty one [and] a terrible: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail; they shall be utterly put to shame, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which shall never be forgotten.

⁹ It is thy destruction, O Israel, that [thou art] against me, against thy help.

⁶ So that with good courage we say,
The Lord is my helper; I will not fear:
What shall man do unto me?
