³⁸ And yet for all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, our Levites, [and] our priests, seal unto it.

³ And the king stood by the pillar, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all [his] heart, and all [his] soul, to confirm the words of this covenant that were written in this book: and all the people stood to the covenant.

¹² And they entered into the covenant to seek Jehovah, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul; ¹³ and that whosoever would not seek Jehovah, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

¹⁶ And Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, and all the people, and the king, that they should be Jehovah's people.

¹⁰ Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Jehovah, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
