⁶ But this [I say], He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Blessed is he that considereth the poor:
Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil. ² Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive,
And he shall be blessed upon the earth;
And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies. ³ Jehovah will support him upon the couch of languishing:
Thou makest all his bed in his sickness.

¹⁸ The wicked earneth deceitful wages;
But he that soweth righteousness [hath] a sure reward.

²⁴ There is that scattereth, and increaseth yet more;
And there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but [it tendeth] only to want. ²⁵ The liberal soul shall be made fat;
And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

¹⁷ He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto Jehovah,
And his good deed will he pay him again.

⁹ He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed;
For he giveth of his bread to the poor.

¹ Cast thy bread upon the waters; for thou shalt find it after many days.

⁶ In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thy hand; for thou knowest not which shall prosper, whether this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

³⁸ give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again.}

¹⁶ And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more. ¹⁷ And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant: because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. ¹⁸ And the second came, saying, Thy pound, Lord, hath made five pounds. ¹⁹ And he said unto him also, Be thou also over five cities. ²⁰ And another came, saying, Lord, behold, [here is] thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin: ²¹ for I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou layedst not down, and reapest that which thou didst not sow. ²² He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow; ²³ then wherefore gavest thou not my money into the bank, and I at my coming should have required it with interest? ²⁴ And he said unto them that stood by, Take away from him the pound, and give it unto him that hath the ten pounds. ²⁵ And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds. ²⁶ I say unto you, that unto every one that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away from him.

¹² Now this I mean, that each one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

²⁹ But this I say, brethren, the time is shortened, that henceforth both those that have wives may be as though they had none;

²⁰ But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.

¹⁰ And he that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for food, shall supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:

¹⁷ Now this I say: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of none effect.

¹⁶ But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

⁷ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. ⁸ For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. ⁹ And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye no longer walk as the Gentiles also walk, in the vanity of their mind,

⁴ This I say, that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.

¹⁰ for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.
