1 John 3:24 Cross References - ASV

²⁴ And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

⁵⁴ He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁵⁵ For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. ⁵⁶ He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me, and I in him.

²¹ He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.} ²² Judas (not Iscariot) saith unto him, Lord, what is come to pass that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said unto him, { If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

⁷ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you. ⁸ Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and [so] shall ye be my disciples. ⁹ Even as the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you: abide ye in my love. ¹⁰ If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

²¹ that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me.

⁹ But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰ And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
¹² So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh: ¹³ for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. ¹⁴ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. ¹⁵ For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. ¹⁶ The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God: ¹⁷ and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified with [him].

¹⁶ Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

¹⁹ Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;

¹⁶ And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

⁵ that he might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. ⁶ And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

¹⁴ That good thing which was committed unto [thee] guard through the Holy Spirit which dwelleth in us.

⁶ he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.

²² and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.

¹² No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us: ¹³ hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

¹⁵ Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God. ¹⁶ And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.
