¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

²⁵ That be far from you to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from you: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

⁶ Which shakes the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. ⁷ But the LORD shall endure for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment. ⁸ And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

⁶ You have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge. ⁷ Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

⁸ God reigns over the heathen: God sits on the throne of his holiness.

¹⁴ Justice and judgment are the habitation of your throne: mercy and truth shall go before your face.

² Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

²³ I beheld the earth, and, see, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. ²⁴ I beheld the mountains, and, see, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. ²⁵ I beheld, and, see, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. ²⁶ I beheld, and, see, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

³⁵ Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

³⁵ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:

³⁰ And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent: ³¹ Because he has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained; whereof he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.

⁵ But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁷ But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved to fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. ¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness, ¹² Looking for and hastening to the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

² And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

¹⁴ And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

⁸ And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

²⁰ And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.

² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
