⁷ Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be you lift up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

³⁵ And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let your enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you. ³⁶ And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, to the many thousands of Israel.

¹⁷ And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the middle of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

⁶ And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD to his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

¹¹ So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

¹ The king shall joy in your strength, O LORD; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

⁵ His glory is great in your salvation: honor and majesty have you laid on him.

¹⁶ Why leap you, you high hills? this is the hill which God desires to dwell in; yes, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. ¹⁷ The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. ¹⁸ You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have received gifts for men; yes, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

¹⁹ Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: ²⁰ This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

⁸ Arise, O LORD, into your rest; you, and the ark of your strength.

² Open you the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.

⁷ And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, said the LORD of hosts.

⁹ The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, said the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, said the LORD of hosts.

¹ Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, said the LORD of hosts.

¹⁹ So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

⁸ Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

⁸ Why he said, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men. ⁹ (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

¹ My brothers, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

²² Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

¹¹ You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.
