⁴³ And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgments.

⁶ Arise, O LORD, in your anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded. ⁷ So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high. ⁸ The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity that is in me. ⁹ Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins.

⁴ For you have maintained my right and my cause; you sat in the throne judging right.

¹⁶ The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

¹ Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

¹⁶ But to the wicked God said, What have you to do to declare my statutes, or that you should take my covenant in your mouth?

¹⁴ Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, you God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness. ¹⁵ O Lord, open you my lips; and my mouth shall show forth your praise.

¹⁷ O God, you have taught me from my youth: and till now have I declared your wondrous works. ¹⁸ Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed your strength to this generation, and your power to every one that is to come.

¹³ With my lips have I declared all the judgments of your mouth.

⁵² I remembered your judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

¹²⁰ My flesh trembles for fear of you; and I am afraid of your judgments.

¹⁷⁵ Let my soul live, and it shall praise you; and let your judgments help me.

²¹ As for me, this is my covenant with them, said the LORD; My spirit that is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, said the LORD, from now on and for ever.

¹³ In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

¹⁸ Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

²³ Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously:
