³² Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

⁶ Thus said the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

¹⁵ The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the middle of you: you shall not see evil any more.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on an ass, and on a colt the foal of an ass.

⁴⁴ The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

⁶¹ But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said to him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? ⁶² And Jesus said, I am: and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

²⁶ And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

³⁹ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If you be Christ, save yourself and us. ⁴⁰ But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Do not you fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation? ⁴¹ And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss. ⁴² And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ⁴³ And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, To day shall you be with me in paradise.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

¹³ Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that comes in the name of the Lord.

¹² And from thereafter Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If you let this man go, you are not Caesar's friend: whoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar. ¹³ When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. ¹⁴ And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he said to the Jews, Behold your King! ¹⁵ But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

²⁵ The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the LORD. But he said to them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. ²⁶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the middle, and said, Peace be to you. ²⁷ Then said he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. ²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to him, My LORD and my God. ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

³ For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

¹⁸ Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
