²⁸ And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.

⁵ Sing to the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. ⁶ With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. ⁷ Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. ⁸ Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together ⁹ Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

¹ And in that day you shall say, O LORD, I will praise you: though you were angry with me, your anger is turned away, and you comforted me. ² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. ³ Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.

⁸ He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it. ⁹ And it shall be said in that day, See, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen on you. ² For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you.

⁷ And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night to him, though he bear long with them?

¹⁹ For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

²³ And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

¹⁴ Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.

³⁰ And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed to the day of redemption.
