⁶ The land of Egypt is before you; in the best of the land make your father and brothers to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if you know any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

⁹ Is not the whole land before you? separate yourself, I pray you, from me: if you will take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if you depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.

¹⁵ And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before you: dwell where it pleases you.

¹⁰ And you shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade you therein, and get you possessions therein.

¹⁸ And take your father and your households, and come to me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land. ¹⁹ Now you are commanded, this do you; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come. ²⁰ Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is your's.

⁴ They said morever to Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for your servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray you, let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

¹¹ And Joseph placed his father and his brothers, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

¹⁶ And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

³ Behold, the hand of the LORD is on your cattle which is in the field, on the horses, on the asses, on the camels, on the oxen, and on the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. ⁴ And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel. ⁵ And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land. ⁶ And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

¹⁰ And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains on man, and on beast.

²¹ And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

²¹ Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

¹⁰ Also he built towers in the desert, and dig many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: farmers also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.

¹ The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will.

²⁹ See you a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

² As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.
