²⁴ And it shall come to pass in the increase, that you shall give the fifth part to Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

³⁴ Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

²⁵ And they said, You have saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

³² And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to the LORD.

¹⁵ And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. ¹⁶ And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your best young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. ¹⁷ He will take the tenth of your sheep: and you shall be his servants.

¹ Blessed is he that considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

⁵ A good man shows favor, and lends: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
