⁷ He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth on nothing.

¹⁴ See, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

⁶ By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

³⁰ You send forth your spirit, they are created: and you renew the face of the earth.

¹⁸ For thus said the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

²³ I beheld the earth, and, see, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

¹⁰ She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melts, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.
