⁵ Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates?

³ You have proved my heart; you have visited me in the night; you have tried me, and shall find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

² Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

⁵⁹ I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies.

²³ Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: ²⁴ And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

³⁰ Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD has rejected them.

⁴⁰ Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

²⁸ Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

¹⁰ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

¹⁶ Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

² Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

¹⁵ Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

¹⁹ What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?

²⁴ Know you not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that you may obtain.

²⁷ But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

²⁸ But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

³¹ For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

⁶ But I trust that you shall know that we are not reprobates. ⁷ Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that you should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

²⁰ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

¹⁹ My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

⁴ But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

²⁰ And are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; ²¹ In whom all the building fitly framed together grows to an holy temple in the Lord: ²² In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

¹⁷ That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

²³ If you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

²⁷ To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

⁷ Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

¹⁹ And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God.

¹⁵ Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

⁸ Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

¹³ This witness is true. Why rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

¹⁶ They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and to every good work reprobate.

² That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

¹ Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

⁸ But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is near to cursing; whose end is to be burned.

¹⁵ Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

⁴ You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

⁴ To whom coming, as to a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ⁵ You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

⁹ Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brothers that are in the world.

²⁰ For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

⁵ Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent.

² Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before God. ³ Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come on you.
