¹⁷ Then the tent of meeting shall set forward, with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps. As they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place, by their standards.

⁵⁰ but appoint thou the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all the furniture of it, and over all that belongs to it. They shall bear the tabernacle, and all the furniture of it, and they shall minister to it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle. ⁵¹ And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites shall take it down, and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. And the stranger who comes near shall be put to death. ⁵² And the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies. ⁵³ But the Levites shall encamp round about the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹ And LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

³⁸ And those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, before the tent of meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the sons of Israel. And the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

¹⁷ And the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, set forward.

²¹ And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary, and the others set up the tabernacle until their coming.

⁴⁰ Let all things be done decently and in order.

⁵ For even though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your orderliness, and the steadfastness of your faith for Christ.
