Mark 15:22 Cross References - ACV

22 And they bring him to the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, the place of a skull.

Matthew 27:33-44

33 And having come to a place called Golgotha, that is called, the place of a skull, 34 they gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall. And having tasted it, he would not drink. 35 And when they crucified him, they divided his garments, casting a lot. 36 And as they sat, they keep watch over him there. 37 And they set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 38 Then two robbers are crucified with him, one at the right hand and one at the left. 39 And those who passed by reviled him, shaking their heads, 40 and saying, Thou who destroy the temple, and build it in three days, save thyself. If thou are the Son of God, come down from the cross. 41 And likewise also the chief priests, ridiculing with the scholars, and elders, and Pharisees, said, 42 He saved others, he cannot save himself. If he is the king of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 He trusted in God, let him rescue him now, if he wants him, for he said, I am the Son of God. 44 And also the robbers who were crucified with him reviled him the same way.

Luke 23:27-38

27 And a great multitude of the people followed him, and also of women who bewailed and lamented him. 28 But having turning to them, Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, instead weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 Because, behold, the days are coming, during which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the bellies that gave no birth, and the breasts that did not suckle. 30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us, and to the hills, Cover us. 31 Because if they do these things in the green tree, what will happen in the dry? 32 And two other men, malefactors, were also led with him to be executed. 33 And when they came to the place called Skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one at the right hand and the other at the left. 34 And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing. And dividing his garments, they cast a lot. 35 And the people had stood watching. And also the rulers with them sneered, saying, He saved others. He should save himself, if this is the Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, approaching, and bringing him vinegar, 37 and saying, If thou are the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And there was also an inscription over him written in letters, in Greek and Latin and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

John 19:17-27

17 And he went out bearing his cross to a place called, of a Skull, a place that is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, 18 where they crucified him, and two others with him, on this side and that, and Jesus in the middle. 19 And Pilate also wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And it was written, JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Therefore many of the Jews read this title, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Hebrew, in Greek, in Latin. 21 Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Do not write, The king of the Jews, but, That man said I am king of the Jews. 22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. 23 The soldiers therefore when they crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. But the tunic was a seamless weave, from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not divide it, but cast a lot for it, whose it will be, so that the scripture might be fulfilled, which says, They parted my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast a lot. Therefore the soldiers indeed did these things. 25 And his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene had stood near the cross of Jesus. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing by, he says to his mother, Woman, behold thy son. 27 Then he says to the disciple, Behold, thy mother. And from that hour the disciple took her to his own place.
