If my kingdom were of this world my subordinates would have fought so that I would not be delivered to the Jews, but now my kingdom is not from here. 37 Pilate therefore said to him, Then thou are a king? Jesus answered, Thou say that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I would testify to the truth. Every man who is of the truth hears my voice. 38 Pilate says to him, What is truth? And having said this, he went out again to the Jews, and says to them, I find not one cause in him.

Acts 3:13
