Leviticus 16:2-19

2 and LORD said to Moses, Speak to Aaron thy brother, that he not come at all times into the holy place within the veil, before the mercy-seat which is upon the ark, that he not die, for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy-seat. 3 Aaron shall come into the holy place this way: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. 4 He shall put on the holy linen tunic, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with the linen sash, and he shall be attired with the linen miter. They are the holy garments, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and put them on. 5 And he shall take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two he-goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. 6 And Aaron shall present the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself, and for his house. 7 And he shall take the two goats, and set them before LORD at the door of the tent of meeting. 8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. 9 And Aaron shall present the goat upon which the lot fell for LORD, and offer him for a sin offering. 10 But the goat, on which the lot fell for the scapegoat, shall be set alive before LORD, to make atonement for him, to send him away for the scapegoat into the wilderness. 11 And Aaron shall present the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself. 12 And he shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil. 13 And he shall put the incense upon the fire before LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy-seat that is upon the testimony, that he not die. 14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy-seat on the east. And he shall sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times before the mercy-seat. 15 Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy-seat, and before the mercy-seat. 16 And he shall make atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins. And so he shall do for the tent of meeting that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleannesses. 17 And there shall be no man in the tent of meeting when he goes in to make atonement in the holy place until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel. 18 And he shall go out to the altar that is before LORD, and make atonement for it. And shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about. 19 And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel.

15 LORD thy God will raise up for thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brothers, like me. Ye shall hearken to him, 16 according to all that thou desired of LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die. 17 And LORD said to me, They have well said that which they have spoken. 18 I will raise up a prophet for them from among their brothers, like thee. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Psalms 2:1-12

1 Why do the nations rage, and the peoples meditate vain things? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bonds apart, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision. 5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and vex them in his great displeasure. 6 Yet I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7 I will tell of the decree. LORD said to me, Thou are my Son, this day I have begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, and the outermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shall break them with a rod of iron, thou shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. 10 Now therefore be wise, O ye kings. Be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11 Serve LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.

Psalms 16:9-11

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices. My flesh also shall dwell in hope. 10 For thou will not leave my soul to Sheol, nor will thou allow thy holy man to see corruption. 11 Thou made known to me the path of life. Thou will fill me of joy with thy countenance.

Psalms 22:1-31

1 My God, my God, why have thou forsaken me, far from helping me, and the words of my groaning? 2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answer not, and in the night season, and I am not silent. 3 But thou are holy, O thou who inhabit the praises of Israel. 4 Our fathers trusted in thee. They trusted, and thou delivered them. 5 They cried to thee, and were delivered. They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame. 6 But I am a worm, and no man, a reproach of men, and despised by the people. 7 All those who see me laugh me to scorn. They shoot out the lip. They shake the head, saying, 8 He trusted on LORD. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him. 9 But thou are he who took me out of the womb. Thou made me trust upon my mother's breasts. 10 I was cast upon thee from the womb. Thou are my God since my mother bore me. 11 Be not far from me, for trouble is near, for there is none to help. 12 Many bulls have encompassed me. Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me around. 13 They gape upon me with their mouth, as a ravening and a roaring lion. 14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue clings to my jaws, and thou have brought me into the dust of death. 16 For dogs have encompassed me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I may count all my bones. They look and stare upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and upon my vesture do they cast a lot. 19 But be thou not far off, O LORD. O thou my succor, hasten thee to help me. 20 Deliver my soul from the sword, the only one of me from the power of the dog. 21 Save me from the lion's mouth, yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen. Thou have answered me. 22 I will declare thy name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will praise thee. 23 Ye who fear LORD, praise him. All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all ye the seed of Israel. 24 For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, neither has he hid his face from him, but when he cried to him, he heard. 25 From thee comes my praise in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him. 26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise LORD who seek after him. Let your heart live forever. 27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to LORD, and all the kinfolk of the nations shall worship before thee. 28 For the kingdom is LORD's, and he is the ruler over the nations. 29 All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive. 30 A seed shall serve him. It shall be told of the Lord to the next generation. 31 They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, that he has done it.

Psalms 40:6-8

6 Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire, but a body thou have prepared for me. Whole burnt offering and sacrifice for sin thou did not require. 7 Then I said, Lo, I have come. In the volume of a book it is written of me. 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God. Yea, thy law is within my heart.

Psalms 69:1-36

1 Save me, O God, for the waters have come in to my soul. 2 I sink in deep mire where there is no standing. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. 3 I am weary with my crying. My throat is dried. My eyes fail while I wait for my God. 4 Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who would cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. That which I took not away I have to restore. 5 O God, thou know my foolishness, and my sins are not hid from thee. 6 Let not those who wait for thee be put to shame through me, O lord LORD of hosts. Let not those who seek thee be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel. 7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach, shame has covered my face. 8 I have become a stranger to my brothers, and an alien to my mother's sons. 9 For the zeal of thy house has eaten me up, and the reproaches of those who reproach thee have fallen upon me. 10 When I wept in my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. 11 When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them. 12 Those who sit in the gate talk of me, and I am the song of the drunkards. 13 But as for me, my prayer is to thee, O LORD. In an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of thy loving kindness, answer me in the truth of thy salvation. 14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters. 15 Let not the water flood overwhelm me, nor let the deep swallow me up. And let not the pit shut its mouth upon me. 16 Answer me, O LORD, for thy loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of thy tender mercies turn thou to me, 17 and hide not thy face from thy servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily. 18 Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies. 19 Thou know my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before thee. 20 Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none. 21 They also gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. 22 Let their table before them become a snare, and when they are in peace, a trap, and for a stumbling block, and for a retribution to them. 23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see, and bow down their back continually. 24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let the fierceness of thine anger overtake them. 25 Let their habitation be desolate. Let none dwell in their tents. 26 For they persecute him whom thou have smitten, and they tell of the sorrow of those whom thou have wounded. 27 Add iniquity to their iniquity, and let them not come into thy righteousness. 28 Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous. 29 But I am poor and sorrowful. Let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. 30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving, 31 and it will please LORD better than an ox, or a bullock that has horns and hoofs. 32 The meek have seen it, and are glad. Ye who seek after God, let your heart live. 33 For LORD hears the needy, and does not despise his prisoners. 34 Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and everything that moves therein. 35 For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. And they shall abide there, and have it in possession. 36 The seed also of his servants shall inherit it, and those who love his name shall dwell therein.

Psalms 72:1-20

1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness to the king's son. 2 He will judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with justice. 3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness. 4 He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the sons of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor. 5 They shall fear thee while the sun endures, and as long as the moon, throughout all generations. 6 He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth. 7 In his days righteousness shall flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon is no more. 8 He shall also have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. 9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust. 10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. 11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him. 12 For he will deliver a needy man when he cries, and a poor man, who has no helper. 13 He will have pity on a poor and needy man, and he will save the souls of the needy. 14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. And their blood will be precious in his sight, 15 and they shall live. And to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. And men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all the day long. 16 There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains. The fruit of it shall shake like Lebanon. And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth. 17 His name shall endure forever. His name shall be continued as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in him. All nations shall call him blessed. 18 Blessed be LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. 19 And blessed be his glorious name forever. And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Truly, and Truly. 20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

Psalms 88:1-18

1 O LORD, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee. 2 Let my prayer enter into thy presence. Incline thine ear to my cry. 3 For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol. 4 I am reckoned with those who go down into the pit. I am as a man who has no help, 5 cast off among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom thou remember no more, and they are cut off from thy hand. 6 Thou have laid me in the lowest pit, in dark places, in the deeps. 7 Thy wrath lays hard upon me, and thou have afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah. 8 Thou have put my acquaintances far from me. Thou have made me an abomination to them. I am shut up, and I cannot come forth. 9 My eye wastes away because of affliction. I have called daily upon thee, O LORD, I have spread forth my hands to thee. 10 Will thou show wonders to the dead? Shall those who are deceased arise and praise thee? Selah. 11 Shall thy loving kindness be declared in the grave, or thy faithfulness in destruction? 12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark, and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? 13 But to thee, O LORD, I have cried, and in the morning my prayer shall come before thee. 14 LORD, why do thou cast off my soul? Why do thou hide thy face from me? 15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up. While I suffer thy terrors I am confounded. 16 Thy fierce wrath has gone over me. Thy terrors have cut me off. 17 They came round about me like water all the day long. They encompassed me around together. 18 Thou have put beloved and friend far from me, and my acquaintances into darkness.

Psalms 109:4-20

4 For my love they are my adversaries, but I make prayer. 5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. 6 Set thou a wicked man over him, and let an adversary stand at his right hand. 7 When he is judged, let him come forth guilty, and let his prayer be turned into sin. 8 Let his days be few, and let another take his office. 9 Let his sons be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10 Let his sons be vagabonds, and beg, and let them seek out of their desolate places. 11 Let a creditor exact all that he has, and let strangers make spoil of his labor. 12 Let there be none to extend kindness to him, nor let there be any to have pity on his fatherless sons. 13 Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with LORD, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15 Let them be before LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth, 16 because he did not remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, and the broken in heart, to kill. 17 Yea, he loved cursing, and it came to him. And he did not delight in blessing, and it was far from him. 18 He also clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, and it came into his inward parts like water, and like oil into his bones. 19 Let it be to him as the raiment with which he covers himself, and for the belt with which he is girded continually. 20 This is the reward of my adversaries from LORD, and of those who speak evil against my soul.

Psalms 110:1-7

1 LORD says to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2 LORD will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion. Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 3 Thy people offer themselves willingly in the day of thy power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning thou have the dew of thy youth. 4 LORD has sworn, and will not repent. Thou are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. 5 The Lord at thy right hand will strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 6 He will judge among the nations. He will fill with dead bodies. He will strike through the head in many countries. 7 He will drink of the brook in the way, therefore he will lift up the head.

Isaiah 11:1-10

1 And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse. And a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit. 2 And the Spirit of LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of LORD. 3 And his delight shall be in the fear of LORD. And he shall not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears, 4 but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins. 6 And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together. And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of LORD as the waters cover the sea. 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, and he who arises to rule over the Gentiles. In him shall the Gentiles hope, and his resting-place shall be glorious.

Isaiah 28:16

16 Therefore thus says the lord LORD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a sure foundation. He who believes in him shall, no, not be shamed.

Isaiah 40:1-11

1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, says your God. 2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry to her, that her warfare has been completed, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of LORD's hand double for all her sins. 3 The voice of a man crying out in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. And the crooked shall become straight, and the rough places smooth. 5 And the glory of LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. For the mouth of LORD has spoken it. 6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness of it is as the flower of the field. 7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of LORD blows upon it. Surely the people is grass. 8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God shall stand forever. 9 O thou who tell good news to Zion, get thee up on a high mountain. O thou who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up thy voice with strength. Lift it up, be not afraid, say to the cities of Judah, Behold, your God! 10 Behold, the lord LORD will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and will gently lead those who have their young.

Isaiah 42:1-4

1 Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights. I have put my Spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He will not cry, nor lift up his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench, but he will bring forth justice in truth. 4 He will not fail nor be discouraged till he has set justice in the earth. And in his name Gentiles will hope.

Isaiah 49:1-8

1 Listen, O isles, to me, and hearken, ye peoples from far. LORD has called me from the womb. From the bowels of my mother he has made mention of my name. 2 And he has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hid me in the shadow of his hand, and he has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver. 3 And he said to me, Thou are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified. 4 But I said, I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity. Yet surely the justice due to me is with LORD, and my recompense with my God. 5 And now says LORD who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Israel be gathered to him (for I am honorable in the eyes of LORD, and my God has become my strength), 6 yea, he says, It is too light a thing that thou should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou may be my salvation to the end of the earth. 7 Thus says LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers. Kings shall see and arise, rulers, and they shall worship, because of LORD who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen thee. 8 Thus says LORD, In an acceptable time I have heard thee, and in a day of salvation I have helped thee. And I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages,

Isaiah 50:2-6

2 Why, when I came, was there no man? When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water, and die for thirst. 3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering. 4 The lord LORD has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary. He awakens morning by morning. He awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. 5 The lord LORD has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, nor turned away backward. 6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair. I did not hide my face from shame and spitting.

Isaiah 52:13-53:12

13 Behold, my servant shall deal wisely. He shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.

Isaiah 61:1-3

1 The Spirit of the lord LORD is upon me, because LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, and the opening of bonds to those who are bound, 2 to proclaim the acceptable year of LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of LORD, that he may be glorified.

24 Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. 25 Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the anointed one, the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. It shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troublesome times. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks the anointed one shall be cut off, and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary, and the end of it shall be with a flood. And even to the end shall be war; desolations are determined. 27 And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate. And even to the full end, and that determined, wrath shall be poured out upon the desolate.

Hosea 1:7-11

7 But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen. 8 Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bore a son. 9 And LORD said, Call his name Lo-ammi, for ye are not my people, and I will not be yours. 10 Yet the number of the sons of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered. And it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said to them, The sons of the living God. 11 And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Hosea 3:5

Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also I will pour out my Spirit upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of LORD comes. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of LORD shall be saved. For in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as LORD has said, and among the remnant those whom LORD calls.

1 Now thou shall gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops. He has laid siege against us. They shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephrathah, which are little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee he shall come forth to me who is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting. 3 Therefore he will give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth. Then the residue of his brothers shall return to the sons of Israel. 4 And he shall stand, and shall feed his flock in the strength of LORD, in the majesty of the name of LORD his God, and they shall abide. For now he shall be great to the ends of the earth.

8 And I cut off the three shepherds in one month, for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me. 9 Then I said, I will not feed you. That which dies, let it die, and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off, and let those who are left eat each one the flesh of another. 10 And I took my staff Beauty, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples. 11 And it was broken in that day, and thus the poor of the flock who gave heed to me knew that it was the word of LORD. 12 And I said to them, If ye think good, give me my wage, and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my wage thirty pieces of silver. 13 And LORD said to me, Cast it to the potter, the good price that I was valued by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of LORD.

And half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Malachi 3:1-3

1 Behold, I send my agent, and he shall prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple. And the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he comes, says LORD of hosts. 2 But who can abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap. 3 And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver. And they shall offer to LORD offerings in righteousness.

Malachi 4:2-6

2 But to you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in its wings, and ye shall go forth, and frolic as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make, says LORD of hosts. 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances. 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and fearful day of LORD comes. 6 And he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

11 And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name that thou have given to me, so that they may be one, just as we. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. And I speak these things in the world, so that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not divide it, but cast a lot for it, whose it will be, so that the scripture might be fulfilled, which says, They parted my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast a lot. Therefore the soldiers indeed did these things. 25 And his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene had stood near the cross of Jesus. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing by, he says to his mother, Woman, behold thy son. 27 Then he says to the disciple, Behold, thy mother. And from that hour the disciple took her to his own place. 28 After this, Jesus, having seen that all things are now completed, so that the scripture might be fully complete, says, I thirst. 29 Therefore a vessel full of vinegar was set there. And having filled a sponge with the vinegar, and having put it around a hyssop, they brought it to his mouth. 30 When therefore Jesus received the vinegar, he said, It is finished, and after bowing his head, he gave up the spirit. 31 The Jews therefore, so that the bodies would not remain on the cross on the sabbath, since it was Preparation (for it was the high day of that sabbath), they besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and they might be removed. 32 The soldiers therefore came, and indeed broke the legs of the first, and of the other man who was crucified with him. 33 But having come to Jesus, when they saw him now having died, they did not break his legs. 34 But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and straightaway blood and water came out. 35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. And that man knows that he speaks true, so that ye may believe. 36 For these things happened so that the scripture might be fulfilled, Not a bone of him will be broken. 37 And again another scripture says, They will look toward whom they pierced.
