Job 25:2 Cross References - ACV

2 Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.

1 Chronicles 29:11-12

11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is thine. Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou are exalted as head above all. 12 Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou rule over all. And in thy hand is power and might. And in thy hand it is to make great, and to give strength to all.

Job 9:2-10

2 Of a truth I know that it is so. But how can man be just with God? 3 If he is pleased to contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand. 4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against him, and prospered? 5 He who removes the mountains, and they do not know it when he overturns them in his anger, 6 who shakes the earth out of its place, and the pillars of it tremble, 7 who commands the sun, and it does not rise, and seals up the stars, 8 who alone stretches out the heavens, and treads upon the waves of the sea, 9 who makes the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the chambers of the south, 10 who does great things past finding out, yea, marvelous things without number.

Job 26:5-14

5 Those who are deceased tremble beneath the waters and the inhabitants of it. 6 Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering. 7 He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth upon nothing. 8 He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them. 9 He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it. 10 He has described a boundary upon the face of the waters, to the confines of light and darkness. 11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke. 12 He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smites through Rahab. 13 By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent. 14 Lo, these are but the periphery of his ways. And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?

Job 40:9-14

9 Or have thou an arm like God? And can thou thunder with a voice like him? 10 Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity, and array thyself with honor and majesty. 11 Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger, and look upon everyone who is proud, and abase him. 12 Look on everyone who is proud, and bring him low, and tread down the wicked where they stand. 13 Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place. 14 Then I will also confess of thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

Daniel 4:34-37

34 And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me. And I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever. For his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation. 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing, and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth. And none can stay his hand, or say to him, What are thou doing? 36 At the same time my understanding returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me, and my counselors and my lords sought to me. And I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are truth, and his ways justice. And he is able to abase those who walk in pride.

We plead on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For the man who knew no sin was made sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
