²³ Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, for LORD of hosts will reign in mount Zion and in Jerusalem. And glory shall be before his elders.

²¹ And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

⁴ Where were thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou have understanding. ⁵ Who determined the measures of it, if thou know? Or who stretched the line upon it? ⁶ Upon what were the foundations of it fastened? Or who laid the cornerstone of it ⁷ when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

¹ LORD reigns! Let the earth rejoice. Let the multitude of isles be glad.

⁶ Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion, for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁰ For the stars of heaven and the constellations of it shall not give their light. The sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.

²⁶ Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that LORD binds up the hurt of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.

⁷ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Thy God reigns!

¹⁹ The sun shall no more be thy light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to thee, but LORD will be to thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

⁷ And when I shall extinguish thee, I will cover the heavens, and make the stars of it dark. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light. ⁸ All the bright lights of heaven I will make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, says the lord LORD.

⁹ I beheld till thrones were placed, and one who was ancient of days sat. His raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and the wheels of it burning fire. ¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

¹⁸ But the sanctified of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.

²⁷ And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the sanctified of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

³¹ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of LORD comes.

¹⁵ The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.

⁷ And I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation. And LORD will reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth even forever.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold, thy king comes to thee. He is just, and having salvation, lowly, and riding upon a donkey, even upon a colt the foal of a donkey.

¹⁰ May thy kingdom come. May thy will happen on the earth as also in heaven.

¹³ And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, because from thee is the kingdom and the power and the glory into the ages. Truly.

²⁴ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, ²⁵ and the stars of the sky will be falling, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. ²⁶ And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with much power and glory.

²² But ye have come to mount Zion, and to the city of a living God, a heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of agents,

¹² And I looked when he opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake occurred, and the sun became black as hairy sackcloth, and the whole moon became as blood. ¹³ And the stars of the sky fell to the earth as a fig tree that casts its unripe figs being shaken by a great wind. ¹⁴ And the sky departed as a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

¹⁵ And the seventh agent sounded, and great voices occurred in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he will reign into the ages of the ages.

¹ And I looked, and lo, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with it a number, a hundred and forty-four thousand, having its name and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

⁴ And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, Truly! Praise the Lord!

⁶ And I heard as the sound of a large multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, Praise the Lord! Because the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

²³ And the city has no need of the sun, nor of the moon, so that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and the light of it is the Lamb.

⁵ And there will be no night there, and they have no need of a lamp and the light of sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them. And they will reign into the ages of the ages.
