¹⁵ And the upper altar shall be four cubits. And from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

² And thou shall make the horns of it upon the four corners of it. The horns of it shall be of one piece with it, and thou shall overlay it with brass.

⁹ And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar,

²⁸ And the news came to Joab, for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he did not turn after Absalom. And Joab fled to the tent of LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.

²⁷ LORD is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

¹ Ho Ariel, Ariel, the city where David encamped! Add ye year to year. Let the feasts come round. ² Then I will distress Ariel, and there shall be mourning and lamentation, and she shall be to me as Ariel.

⁷ And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her stronghold, and that distress her, shall be as a dream, a vision of the night.
