¹³ I have surely built thee a house of habitation, a place for thee to dwell in forever.

¹⁷ Thou will bring them in, and plant them on the mountain of thine inheritance, the place, O LORD, which thou have made for thee to dwell in, the sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

¹³ He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

¹² He shall build for me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

¹⁰ He shall build a house for my name. And he shall be my son, and I will be his father, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever. ¹¹ Now, my son, LORD be with thee, and prosper thou, and build the house of LORD thy God as he has spoken concerning thee.

⁶ And he said to me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

¹⁰ Take heed now, for LORD has chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.

²⁰ And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it. Fear not, nor be dismayed, for LORD God, even my God, is with thee. He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until all the work for the service of the house of LORD be finished.

² But I have built for thee a house of habitation, and a place for thee to dwell in forever.

⁶⁸ but chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved. ⁶⁹ And he built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.

¹³ For LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation. ¹⁴ This is my resting place forever. Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

²¹ Jesus says to her, Woman, believe me, that the hour is coming when neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem will ye worship the Father. ²² Ye worship what ye do not know. We worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews. ²³ But an hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for also the Father seeks such kind who worship him.

¹⁴ For we have heard him saying that this Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place, and will change the customs that Moses delivered to us.

⁵ who serve for an example and shadow of the heavenly things. Just as Moses who was divinely warned while going to complete the tabernacle, for he says, See thou make all things according to the pattern that was shown thee on the mountain. ⁶ But now he has obtained a superior ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a superior covenant, which has been enacted upon superior promises. ⁷ For if that first one was faultless, no place would have been sought for a second. ⁸ For, finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, and I will perfect a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. ⁹ Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by my hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. Because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ Because this is the covenant that I will ordain with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving my laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be to them for a God, and they will be to me for a people. ¹¹ And they will, no, not teach each man his fellow citizen, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, because all will know me, from their small as far as their great. ¹² Because I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins and their lawlessness I will no, not further remember. ¹³ In saying, New, he has made the first old. And what is becoming old and obsolete is near disappearance.

¹¹ But Christ, having arrived a high priest of the good things that are coming, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, he entered in once into the Holy things, having found eternal redemption.

²⁴ For the Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, representative of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
