For without law, sin is dead. 9 And I was alive without law once; but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was for life, that I found to be for death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and death.
12 So that, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit makes alive. 7 But if the ministration of death, engraven with letters in stones, was made glorious, so that the sons of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away; 8 how shall not the ministration of the spirit be more glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation is glory, much more does the ministration of righteousness abound in glory.
