²⁴ but for ours also, to whom it shall be reckoned, if we believe on him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

¹⁶ He that believes and is immersed shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be condemned.

¹⁴ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up; ¹⁵ that every one who believes on him may have everlasting life. ¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believes on him, should not perish, but may have everlasting life.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep in virtue of the blood of an eternal covenant, ²¹ make you perfect in every good work to do his will, doing in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
