⁵ through whom we received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;

¹⁶ Because out of his fullness we all received, and grace for grace.

²⁵ that he may take part in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell away, that he might go to his own place.

⁷ And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him: Go; for he is to me a chosen vessel, to bear my name before Gentiles, and kings, and the sons of Israel;

¹⁴ Simeon narrated how at first God visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

²⁹ Is he not also of Gentiles? Yes, of Gentiles also;

³ For I say, through the grace given to me, to every one that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God imparted to each one the measure of faith.

¹⁵ But I wrote the more boldly to you, brethren, in part as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me by God; ¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest in the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of the things which Christ wrought not through me, to bring the Gentiles to obedience, by word and deed, ¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the good news of Christ;

²⁶ but now made manifest, and through the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, made known to all nations for obedience to the faith,

² If I am not an apostle to others, yet at least I am to you; for the seal of my apostleship are ye in the Lord.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

⁵ Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; ⁶ who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit makes alive.

⁴ (for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty before God to the pulling down of strongholds) ⁵ casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; ⁶ and being in readiness to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is made perfect.

¹⁵ But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace, ¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, that I should make known the glad news of him among the Gentiles; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood;

⁸ (for he who wrought for Peter in behalf of the apostleship of the circumcision, wrought also for me in behalf of the Gentiles;) ⁹ and having learned the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas right hands of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision;

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the beloved;

¹² that we should be to the praise of his glory who before have hoped in the Christ;

² if indeed ye heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given me toward you, ³ that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words; ⁴ whereby, when ye read, ye can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ, ⁵ which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; ⁶ that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers with us of the promise, in Christ Jesus, through the gospel; ⁷ whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God, which was given to me according to the working of his power. ⁸ To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, was this grace given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; ⁹ and to make all see what is the dispensation of the mystery, which from ages has been hidden in God, who created all things;

¹¹ according to the glorious gospel of the blissful God, with which I was entrusted. ¹² And I thank him who gave me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, that he accounted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,

⁹ and being perfected became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey him;

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession; that ye should show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; ¹⁰ who once were not a people, but are now the people of God; who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
