⁸ We therefore ought to sustain such persons, that we may become fellow-workers for the truth.

¹⁴ And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye go out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

⁴⁰ He that receives you receives me; and he that receives me receives him who sent me.

⁷ and he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not; the door is already shut, and my children with me are in bed; I can not rise and give thee?

⁵ Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to each one? ⁶ I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. ⁷ So then neither is he that plants anything, nor he that waters; but God that gives the increase. ⁸ And he that plants and he that waters are one; and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. ⁹ For we are God's fellow-laborers; ye are God's field, God's building.

¹⁰ Now if Timothy come, see that he may be with you without fear; for he works the work of the Lord, as I also do. ¹¹ Let no one therefore despise him; but send him forward in peace, that he may come to me; for I look for him with the brethren.

¹ AND, as workers together with him, we also beseech you that ye receive not the grace of God in vain;

² Receive us; we wronged no one, we corrupted no one, we defrauded no one. ³ I say it not for condemnation; for I have before said, that ye are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.

²³ As to Titus, he is my partner, and in regard to you a fellow-laborer; as to our brethren, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

³ Yea, I entreat thee also, true yoke-fellow, help these women, who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow-laborers, whose names are in the book of life.

¹¹ and Jesus, who is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellow-workers, for the kingdom of God, who have been a comfort to me.

² and sent Timothy, our brother, and a fellow-worker with God in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to exhort you concerning your faith;

² and to Apphia the beloved, and Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church in thy house:

²⁴ Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-laborers.

¹⁰ Therefore, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his deeds which he does, prating against us with evil words. And not content therewith, neither does he himself receive the brethren, and those who are willing he forbids, and casts them out of the church.
