And when he had drunk them, he refreshed his spirit, and recovered his strength. LXX2012(i) 14 And they came to Lechi: and the Philistines shouted, and ran to meet him: and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and the ropes that were upon his arms became as tow which is burnt with fire; and his bonds were consumed from off his hands. 15 And he found the jaw-bone of an ass that had been cast away, and he put forth his hand and took it, and struck with it a thousand men. 16 And Sampson said, With the jaw-bone of an ass I have utterly destroyed them, for with the jaw-bone of an ass I have struck a thousand men. 17 And it came to pass when he ceased speaking, that he cast the jaw-bone out of his hand; and he called that place the Lifting of the jaw-bone. 18 And he was very thirsty, and wept before the Lord, and said, You have been well pleased to grant this great deliverance by the hand of your servant, and new shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? 19 And God broke open a hollow place in the jaw, and there came thence water, and he drank; and his spirit returned and he revived: therefore the name of the fountain was called 'The well of the invoker,' which is in Lechi, until this day. 20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
NSB(i) 14 When he got to Lehi, the Philistines shouted and ran toward him. Suddenly Jehovah’s power made him strong. He broke the ropes around his arms and hands as if they were burnt flax. 15 Samson found a fresh jawbone of a donkey. He picked it up, and killed a thousand men with it. 16 Then Samson said: »With the jawbone of a donkey I piled them in piles. With the jawbone of a donkey I killed a thousand men.« 17 When he finished speaking he threw the jawbone away. The place where this happened was named Ramath Lehi. 18 Samson became very thirsty. He called to Jehovah: »You gave me this great victory. Will I now die of thirst and be captured by these heathen Philistines?« 19 God opened a hollow place in the ground there at Lehi, and water came out of it. Samson drank it and felt better. The spring was named Hakkore. It still exists there at Lehi. 20 Samson judged Israel for twenty years while the Philistines ruled the land.
ISV(i) 14 Samson Kills 1,000 PhilistinesWhen Samson arrived at Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, so that the ropes that bound him were like flax that’s been burned by fire, and his bonds dissolved. 15 He happened upon a jawbone from a putrefying donkey, reached out to grab it, and killed 1,000 men with it. 16 Then Samson declared, “With a jawbone from the donkey— here a heap, there a pair of heaps— with the jawbone of the donkey I’ve killed 1,000 men.”
17 When he finally finished bragging, he discarded the jawbone and named that place “Jawbone Heights.”
18 Aferward, he became thirsty, called out to the LORD, and told him, “So, you provided this great deliverance at the hands of your servant, but now I’m to die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?” 19 So God split a hollow place that’s in Lehi, and water sprang out of it. After he had taken a drink, his strength returned, and he revived. That’s why it was named “En-hakkore,” which is in Lehi to this day. 20 Samson governed Israel for twenty years during the Philistine domination.
LEB(i) 14 As he came up to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him; and the Spirit of Yahweh rushed on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that has burned with fire, and his bindings melted from his hands. 15 And he found a fresh jawbone of a donkey; he reached down and took it and killed one thousand men with it. 16 And Samson said,
"With the jawbone of the donkey, heap upon heap; with the jawbone of the donkey, I struck dead one thousand men." 17 And it happened, when he finished speaking he threw the jawbone from his hand; and he called that place Ramath Lehi.* 18 And he was very thirsty, and he called to Yahweh and said, "You gave this great victory into the hand of your servant, but now I must die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?" 19 So God split the hollow place that is at Lehi, and water came out from it; and he drank, and his spirit returned, and he was revived. Thus he called its name The Spring of Ha-Qore,* which is at Lehi to this day. 20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.

Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?” 19 So God opened up the hollow place in Lehi, and water came out of it. When Samson drank, his strength returned, and he was revived. That is why he named it En-hakkore, and it remains in Lehi to this day. 20 And Samson judged Israel for twenty years in the days of the Philistines.

15 Spazivši još sirovu magareću čeljust, pruži on ruku, uze onu čeljust i pobi njome tisuću ljudi. 16 Tad reče Samson: "Magarećom čeljusti gomile prebih, Magarećom čeljusti tisuću pobih." 17 Rekavši to, baci čeljust iz ruke. Zato odonda ono mjesto zovu Ramat Lehi. 18 Kako bijaše jako ožednio, zavapi Jahvi govoreći: "Ti si izvojštio ovu veliku pobjedu rukama svoga sluge, a zar sada moram umrijeti od žeđi i pasti u ruke neobrezanima?" 19 Tad Jahve rasiječe udubinu što je kod Lehija i voda poteče iz nje. Samson se napi i vrati mu se snaga, oživje mu duh. Zato su onom izvoru dali ime En Hakore, a postoji još i danas u Lehiju. 20 Samson bijaše sudac u Izraelu za vrijeme filistejske vladavine dvadeset godina.

Protož nazval jméno její studnice vzývajícího, kteráž jest v Lechi až do dnešního dne. 20 Soudil pak Izraele za času Filistinských dvadceti let.

Moso kòd yo tonbe atè, ou ta di fil ki boule nan dife. 15 Li jwenn zo machwè yon bourik ki te fenk mouri, li lonje men l', li pran l', li touye mil (1000) moun avè l'. 16 Lèfini, li pran chante, li di: -Avèk yon zo machwè bourik mwen touye mil moun. Li rele kote l' te ye a: Mòn zo machwè. 18 Apre sa, Samson vin anvi bwè dlo. Li rele Seyè a, li di: -Ou fin fè m' genyen bèl batay sa a. Koulye a, w'ap kite m' mouri swaf dlo pou bann moun ki p'ap sèvi ou yo mete men sou mwen!
Azért neveztetik a "segítségül hívás forrásának" [e hely] Lehiben mind e mai napig, 20 És ítélé [Sámson] Izráelt a Filiszteusok idejében húsz esztendeig.
Indonesian(i) 14 Ketika Simson dibawa sampai ke Lehi, orang-orang Filistin berlari mendatangi dia sambil menyorakinya.

16 Zatem rzekł Samson: Czeluścią oślą kupę jednę albo dwie kupy, a czeluścią oślą zabiłem tysiąc mężów. 17 A gdy przestał mówić, porzucił czeluść z ręki swej, i nazwał miejsce ono Ramat Lechy.
Samson a băut, duhul i s'a întremat, şi s'a înviorat.
