  16 H935 ויבא carried H8227 שׁפן And Shaphan H853 את   H5612 הספר the book H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H7725 וישׁב and brought H5750 עוד back again, H853 את   H4428 המלך the king H1697 דבר word H559 לאמר saying, H3605 כל All H834 אשׁר that H5414 נתן was committed H3027 ביד to thy servants, H5650 עבדיך to thy servants, H1992 הם they H6213 עשׂים׃ do
  17 H5413 ויתיכו And they have gathered together H853 את   H3701 הכסף the money H4672 הנמצא that was found H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H5414 ויתנוהו and have delivered H5921 על it into H3027 יד the hand H6485 המפקדים of the overseers, H5921 ועל and to H3027 יד the hand H6213 עושׂי of the workmen.   18 H5046 ויגד told H8227 שׁפן Then Shaphan H5608 הסופר the scribe H4428 למלך the king, H559 לאמר saying, H5612 ספר me a book. H5414 נתן hath given H2518 לי חלקיהו Hilkiah H3548 הכהן the priest H7121 ויקרא read H8227 בו שׁפן And Shaphan H6440 לפני it before H4428 המלך׃ the king.
  19 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H8085 כשׁמע had heard H4428 המלך when the king H853 את   H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה of the law, H7167 ויקרע that he rent H853 את   H899 בגדיו׃ his clothes.

  16 H8227 And Shaphan H935 [H8686] carried H5612 the book H4428 to the king, H7725 0 and brought H4428 the king H1697 word H7725 [H8686] back H559 [H8800] again, saying, H5414 [H8738] All that was committed H3027 to H5650 thy servants, H6213 [H8802] they are doing.
  17 H5413 [H8686] And they have gathered H3701 the money H4672 [H8737] that was found H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD, H5414 [H8799] and have given H3027 it into the hand H6485 [H8716] of the overseers, H3027 and to the hand H6213 H4399 [H8802] of the workmen.
  18 H8227 Then Shaphan H5608 [H8802] the scribe H5046 [H8686] told H4428 the king, H559 [H8800] saying, H2518 Hilkiah H3548 the priest H5414 [H8804] hath given H5612 me a book. H8227 And Shaphan H7121 [H8799] read H6440 it at the face of H4428 the king.
  19 H4428 And it came to pass, when the king H8085 [H8800] had heard H1697 the words H8451 of the law, H7167 [H8799] that he tore H899 his clothes.

While they were bringing out the money that had come in as gifts to the LORD’s Temple, Hilkiah the priest discovered the Book of the Law of the LORD that had been handed down by Moses. 15 Hilkiah reported his finding to Shaphan the scribe, telling him, “I found the Book of the Law in the LORD’s Temple. Şi cînd a dat socoteală împăratului, a zis:,,Slujitorii tăi au făcut tot ce li s'a poruncit. 17 Au strîns argintul care se afla în Casa Domnului, şi l-au dat în mînile priveghetorilor şi lucrătorilor.`` 18 Logofătul Şafan a mai spus împăratului:,,Preotul Hilchia mi -a dat o carte.`` Şi Şafan a citit -o înaintea împăratului. 19 Cînd a auzit împăratul cuvintele Legii, şi -a sfîşiat hainele. 20 Şi împăratul a dat următoarea poruncă lui Hilchia, lui Ahicam, fiul lui Şafan, lui Abdon, fiul lui Mica, lui Şafan, logofătul, şi lui Asaia, slujitorul împăratului:
Ukrainian(i) 14 А коли вони виймали срібло, принесене до Господнього дому, священик Хілкійя знайшов книгу Господнього Закону, даного через Мойсея. 15 І відповів Хілкійя й сказав до писаря Шафана: Я знайшов у Господньому домі книгу Закону! І дав Хілкійя ту книгу Шафанові. 16 І приніс Шафан ту книгу до царя, і приніс цареві ще відповідь, говорячи: Усе, що дано через твоїх рабів, вони роблять. 17 І вони висипали те срібло, що знайдене в Господньому домі, і дали його на руку приставлених та на руку робітників праці. 18 І доніс писар Шафан цареві, говорячи: Священик Хілкійя дав мені книгу. І Шафан перечитав з неї перед царем. 19 І сталося, як цар почув слова книги Закону, то роздер свої шати... 20 І наказав цар Хілкійї, і Ахікамові, Шафановому синові, і Авдонові, Міхиному синові, і писареві Шафанові, і Асаї, царевому рабові, говорячи:
